Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. We had an amazing evening at Rumi’s. We have frequented the other locations but this was our first experience at the Colony Square location. Our expectations were exceeded. Our server made excellent recommendations for drinks, appetizers and mains and we all knew what we wanted once we heard his pitch. We also celebrated a family member’s birthday and enjoyed the pistachio and honey ice cream dessert. Drinks, food and service were top notch. Altogether, it was a truly perfect evening and we will look forward to coming back to Rumi’s in the near future. Thank you to Rumi’s Kitchen and staff for making our night.

A treat for the palette! Service was attentive but not intrusive. The food was so delicious. The Rumi tart is a must try. A perfect culinary experience 😊

Great place as always, food and service always consistently excellent. Came for brunch this time- the boreka and shakshuka was great. Coffee could've been hotter and the bunitsa was just ok.

Maria was an excellent server. We enjoyed the food and ambience. There were 5 of us and the tables are small so there wasn’t much room in the table for our food. The tables were so close together that there wasn’t enough space to get up as needed.

Coming to Atlanta, we were overwhelmed by restaurant choices. Told that Rumi’s Kitchen was not to be missed- we made reservations. The entire experience was amazing. Running late due to traffic, the hostess was accommodating when we called to inform her. Kristine deserves server of the year award! From menu choices ( she was so knowledgeable) to understanding our dietary needs- to helping us navigate the neighborhood- she did everything with a cheerful attitude and helpful demeaner. The food was unique and delicious! Would certainly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Amazing. Went here for my 23rd birthday with my boyfriend and was by far my favorite Chilean sea bass I’ve had in Atlanta thus far. I was very impressed with the high quality of food and enjoyed the ice cream sandwiches for dessert.
