Welcome to Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs! The premier Sandy Springs location for Persian Cuisine. Owner and Head Chef Ali Mesghali’s unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons for over 20 years. His previous restaurant, Persepolis, was a Sandy Springs favorite.

Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.

    Our previous experiences at Rumi’s have been excellent - from service to food. Our experience last night was completely off. We were seated by the to go prep area and next to the outdoor heated seating - it was loud, bustling and cold (we never removed our jackets). Service was slow and our appetizers were cold by the time the bread was finally replenished. There seemed to be many staff racing about, but I couldn’t tell who I could stop and ask for something. The staff seemed disorganized and our waitress was inattentive. A server attempted to serve us another table’s meal - which was annoying as our food was already delayed from the kitchen. We arrived at 5:00 for dinner and couldn’t wait to leave after we finished our main course. Overall, for the price paid it was not acceptable value.

    Rumi’s food always delivers and is our go - to holiday family meal location. The shirin rice and shish kabobs are my absolute favorite!

    Food was delicious! Our waiter Gabriel very friendly and helpful! The only thing is that the inside of the restaurant was cold. The heater should be a little warmer many people was with their jacket on . But overall was great!

    Rumis cuisine is spectacular! We are regulars and dine with our Iranian friends which makes ordering easy We sat in the outdoor space and the French heaters kept us toasty, the noise level was very high making it difficult to enjoy our dinner conversation

    Excellent food assuming you like the cuisine. Gets very crowded which is great for people watching and energetic vibe. The noise level gets high however. We always come back as a place on our ‘go to’ list.
