   We went for New Year’s Eve. They accommodated out table request. We got there a little early and had drinks at the bar which was lovely. Our table and food was excellent. Our server was very efficient and friendly and brought us the deviled eggs I wanted for app that we decided against as a New Year’s token from her saying we shouldn’t miss out. The entire meal was a wonderful experience.

   It was delicious. Deviled eggs, delicious wedge salad (best in town) fall off the bone ribs, cheesy Mac and cheese, corn souffle. My only complaint mash potatoes super small portion. One scope and green beans would have been better if cooked more They were too crunchy. You need to have a better beer selection. Had a great server too. Made the meal very pleasant.

   Root & Bone is a must if you are in the Indy area. Great food, cocktails, service, and atmosphere. Comfortable yet refined, not too fancy or too casual. Perfect place for a girls night out, date night, or to celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommend!

   I was really looking forward to dinner as I have been here before and recommend it a lot but it has been awhile and tonight the food was really disappointing. I ordered the same meal as I have previously and the ingredients were different and not for the better. I ordered the shrimp and grits and there were very large sundried tomatoes that overpowered your bite, the grits were not creamy like they have previously been, and the acid level was high. The picked onions did not help with the acid level even though I like pickled onions. Everything else was fine but I will stop recommending until I have a better experience.

   I have been to root and bone for multiple occasions; our daughter’s engagement, date nights, friend dinners. This by far was the worst dining experience we’ve ever had here. Drew was an amazing server and did a great job of checking in. Our drinks were great, however the chicken clearly sat under a warmer or was pre-cooked because it was dry and gummy (was told that it was a common practice). It was just not great. The waffle was delicious. Drew offered to remake it, but we were at the end of our meal. He gave us five dollars off of our bill, but I won’t be back for a while. Truly disappointed to see a neighborhood gem taking shortcuts on a menu staple.

   All the did was delicious and the service was superb. Trinity was our waitress and she went above and beyond. We will definitely be back.

   Great food quality, portions and presentation. Root & Bone offers a variety of different entrees with great flavor. Not your typical menu which is great for trying new things. They also offer a good kids menu that my children were able to choose from. Overall great experience. Will definitely be back!

    This was my third time. Table was ready for our reservation. Place was packed for Sunday brunch. Service attentive. Fried chicken and waffles always good. Gravy a bit peppery for the biscuits and gravy. Overall good.
