Fabulous food and service! Haven’t enjoyed a meal this good in quite some time. Shrimp and grits were fantastic, homemade biscuits and jam are a must, and cocktails were refreshing. Riley and the bartender were awesome!!

We arrived early on a Saturday afternoon, decided to sit at the bar. Excellent experience all around. Service, food, drinks, all high caliber. Only nit is our bartender forgot about us at the end to get our check. We had to wave our credit card around to get attention. That’s ok, it was getting very busy by the time we left and this is a better alternative than being rushed out. :) Will go, lots of interesting menu items to try - huge thumbs up on the fried green tomatoes appetizer, a quite ingenious combination of flavors going way beyond the basic fried tomatoes and remoulade sauce. For dinner we split the Shrimp and Grits plus sides of Mac and Cheese and the Corn Soufflé. All fantastic. Mac and Cheese was not anything special, just a rock solid version of cheesy, creamy goodness. Finished with the chocolate pecan cobbler, as good as it sounds!

Good dinner. Tried Root & Bone for the first time and we liked it. Cool ambiance and lively on a Friday evening, as expected. The food was good and at a fair price. Will be back to try new entrées.

Great ambiance with fun decor. So many things on the menu looked delicious but I settled on the brisket ‘meatloaf’ with mashed potatoes and green beans and it did not disappoint! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. I will definitely come back to Root & Bone!

Great plans with a cool southern vibe. Love the spot and the food was great. Biscuits were a little hard but other than that very good! The drinks were the star of the show! AMAZING! Will definitely be back!
