North Carolina chef and restaurateur, Jim Noble founded Rooster’s: A Noble Grille with the intention of being relevant without being trendy and to impress without being pretentious. That commitment has carried us through two decades and continues to lead us on today.

Knowing that simple food is harder to execute given there is nowhere to hide the flaws, we go to great lengths to source quality ingredients from local farmers and purveyors. We then take all the time necessary to develop their flavors —using both European and modern techniques—always working from scratch.

Our menu features tried and true staples like our spit­-roasted chicken cooked over open fire as well as progressive daily​ specials and elevated Small Plates featuring Executive Chef Brad Pennell. At Rooster’s, you’ll always find something new served with an honest commitment and consistently warm care.

    Went for a “significant” birthday dinner. Asked for a quiet place, and were seated on the edge of the dining area near the door which turned out to be perfect. The drinks were wonderful, the food was superb. Best salmon I’ve ever had. Perfectly crusted skin and perfect doneness. Amazing Brussells sprouts, roaster asparagus. Delicious créme brûlée. Will definitely be going back.

    As always, great service. We had brunch. I’m gluten free and non-dairy, so wish they had a non-dairy alternative for coffee and a gluten free bread option.

    The restaurant was clearly understaffed. We had a reservation, were seated immediately, and weren't greeted by anyone for over 10 minutes. We then waited 10+ minutes for our drinks ( 1 wine and 1 cocktail) and 45+ minutes for our food. Our waters were frequently empty. Not the level of service I expect from this establishment. No apologies were made. Finally, when the bill came, we were charged for an item we didn't order.

    Rooster's is a great restaurant. Always busy every time we've been in. Our server, Bryan, was great! Very atentive and knowledgeable. Worth the visit just to have him serve you! The food is good, but a little on the "rich" side, as far as butter and sauces. The calimari was very greasy, but our server had the item removed from the bill since we ate hardly any of it. They seem to use a lot of butter, but it's great if that's what you're craving! We tend to like to eat on the light side. A little pricey, as it seems all restaurants are these days. A great special occasion restaurant.

    The food here is consistently excellent - every single time. They are known for their fried oysters and are the best we've ever had. We typically go if there is a special occasion in the family or friend group. They do offer a free dessert for birthdays which is a really nice touch! We had the creme brule but I've been told the bread pudding is to die for! They have an outdoor patio which is great in the warmer months. The inside ambience is really nice - especially at night. Servers are clearly highly trained and so very attentive!! I honestly have never had a bad service or food experience here ever. You will not be disappointed - run to Roosters!
