Amazing service, lovely atmosphere...but the steak was to die for. Was not expecting to have the best steak in Chicago here, but it happened. Cooked flawlessly and the sauces were not needed, but were fantastic!

We were celebrating our engagement and the staff made it SO special. They started us both with a glass of champagne on the house, served us scallops, and dessert! We enjoyed a few additional apps and a sushi roll. The espresso martinis were great and our server was truly so kind and gave us recommendations to continue our celebration!

We’ve been to the Oakbrook location before and also loved it. But had an amazing experience at the Chicago location, our waiter was so great, he was so helpful with making all of our decisions on what to get and really made the experience that much more great. We started with edamame, the chicken skewers and pork belly - all fantastic, recommend them all. Then ordered the black cod and we each got spicy tuna rolls - absolutely amazing. Then proceeded to order the New York strip, followed by the lamb chops - 10/10 for both. I’m not usually a lamb person, but it was so tender, flavorful and delicious. We ended with the chocolate lava cake - perfection. I would go back here in a heartbeat, and hopefully have the same waiter again! The food is on the higher end with price, but absolutely worth it, no doubt.

Highly recommend splurging on the decadent omakase option. Great dish after great dish came out and not hot knowing what was coming next made for a more exciting experience.
