   It’s still new, so probably unfair to pass along an opinion. The food was good, as was the service. There was a problem with one of the orders, though management acknowledged that the problem was theirs, and did the right thing on the order. The prices dictate that ultimate success mandates an extremely low tolerance for mistakes like this. Having said all that, we are returning with the whole family next week, so we really want this new iteration to be really successful

   We were happy to learn the Roadhouse Cafe reopened, and the addition of valet parking (because that parking lot was a challenge!) was appreciated and set a nice tone for the evening. The staff from valet to host were friendly and welcoming. Our server Vincent was attentive, friendly and kind and we appreciated his service. The menu is varied without being overwhelming. The food arrived quickly without feeling rushed. Everything ordered was perfectly cooked, from the calamari appetizer to the “best tasting salmon dish ever”, the well seasoned steak tips, and a truly authentic Carbonara that was lick the plate delicious. We will be back, and looking forward to enjoying live music there as well.

    Food was very good & piping hot. Service was a little slow, but not because of the server: Too many diners were seated in his section within 10 (or so) minutes of our arrival, which meant everyone's orders were put in at the same time, which lead to longish wait times. Perhaps seating folks in different sections to spread out demand would work a little better? Lighting in restaurant was also a little bright for us (but now I'm just being fussy). Overall, it was a good dining experience. We are very happy the Roadhouse is back open - it was always one of our favorite spots, especially in the winter. We will be back, for sure!
