   Great first meal at Rix. We will definitely be going again. Nice to have a more upscale restaurant close by and not have to trek downtown.

   It was our first time at RIX. We booked a table outside and we weee seated inside. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The cocktails up there are uniquely different. They only make their take on the classics and sometimes it’s great (espresso martini) and sometimes it’s not (dirty martini). The apps were very good (cheese board) and polenta tots. Our meals were good, but not great (walleye. I should have tried the burger !). We ordered one dessert for the table. You could tell the kitchen was in a hurry. They rushed out a hot skillet pie and it was like fruit soup with an uncuttable floating top crust. Our server tried to make the best of everything including taking a drink off of our tab and apologizing for the dessert. We will def try it again, but don’t book the 830 seating. The staff does not like the late nights. Really pretty up there, especially outside.

   I dined at Rix with my family for my birthday and we all loved our meals and the atmosphere so much! The scallops are a must try!

   Food was marginal. We had the braised beef. Small portion with a lot of carbs offsetting the meal. The Caesar Salad also was fair. Didn't care for poached eggs on it, neither did my friend who ordered it. The sliders were very good, which we split between the four of us. Service by Maya was fabulous, food was underwhelming

   3 of us girls went for my daughter's 30th bday, and the entire experience did not disappoint. Food and drinks were excellent. Drinks were a little pricey. Food was average price for an upscale restaurant, but top quality. The atmosphere was perfect. Gorgeous decor and good acoustics made it easy to relax and not be overwhelmed by loud music or the next table's conversation. I ordered the beef short rib and it was one of the best meals I've had. Would definitely visit Rix again and probably order the same meal. Our server Miranda was amazing and super attentive. She went over and above! Highly recommend!

   Wonderful atmosphere/ambiance! But Very overpriced! Food was average, chicken was dry. Very small portions! Scallop dinner $38 for 3 small scallops on a bed of mashed squash. I could have ordered 2 meals. Awful wine selection! We sent 1st bottle back because it was so bad (reds were way too light for my taste, no full bodied cabs at all). Be prepared to have a very expensive meal and leave hungry. If you enjoy wine with your meal you will be disappointed! $350 for dinner for 4 people and left hungry. Won’t be going back anytime soon. Maybe for drinks (not wine) and apps.

   wow - we were hoping for so much more - heard this was supposed to be the nice restaurant at the new Ada hotel but i would say the Post downstairs is better

    Great spot, the ambiance is great. The menu was focused on local seasonal food. We had a great time and will definitely go back.
