Mentored by Michelin-starred chef Rohit Ghai, a true connoisseur and lover of the heritage of Indian cuisine, Rivayat promises a magical experience, taking you on a journey to the very limits of Indian flavors.

Rohit Ghai’s first solo restaurant, Kutir in Chelsea, opened in late 2018, followed by the critically acclaimed Manthan in Mayfair in 2021. Rohit has worked in and run the kitchens of some of London's leading Indian restaurants, such as Benares, Trishna, Gymkhana, Hoppers and most recently, Jamavar and Bombay Bustle. He is also the first Indian chef to win a Michelin star for Jamavar within ten months of opening the restaurant and also for Gymkhana.

    We had an amazing evening here, the restaurant and hotel itself are beautiful making it a truly unique dining experience. Food is perfect and our service was 10/10, Mohcine was polite and attentive he had great service

    I booked this as a surprise for my husband’s birthday, the food was incredible, the service was amazing. A special thanks to Mohcine for the great service, the surprise birthday cake and our very own photoshoot. He knew all the best spots for the photos. We even had a special appearance from the chef with whom we had a lovely conversation. The hotel itself is exquisite, we would definitely recommend.

    Riyavat was the best food and service we experienced in all of Marrakech! The chef prepares authentic Indian food that is delicious, on the same level with the best Indian restaurants in New York and London. The service was impeccable, very attentive. The restaurant is stunning and the ambiance alone is worth the visit.

    “I had an incredible dining experience here! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a lovely evening and the Moroccan architecture was something else 😍 . A special shoutout to our server, Mouhcine, who truly made our night memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering fantastic recommendations that we loved. Mouhcine went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. It’s rare to find service so genuinely caring and professional. Thank you, Mouhcine, and the entire team, for an unforgettable evening. We can’t wait to come back!”
