   The food and drinks were great. The noise level wasn’t “intimate” but it was conversation-level. The wait staff was friendly and informative, but seemed a little thinly stretched. Finally, the check included a 20% service charge which looked like a “tip” for the staff (most restaurants now disclose when the establishment keeps the charge), but of course there was a separate Tip line. The server didn’t mention whether a tip was included or not, so I found the whole thing a little “sneaky” (even if unintentional).

   This is the ideal place to enjoy dinner before a show at the 5th Ave or other nearby theaters in Seattle. The food is interesting with just enough inventiveness and the chef at the wood fire grill make delicious moist grill meats. Service was great offering good recommendations for us.

   The service at the restaurant was poor. The waitress misheard our order and one of my friends got wrong food. The replacement came more than 30 minutes later. Only when complained to the manager - we received an apology and a discount. Food was over salted.

   Here on business and it’s a great spot for great food- the last wait staff we had was kind and patient as we all needed individual checks

   Food was good but spendy. Service was awful. Granted, they were busy, but wasn't acknowledged for 17 minutes after being seated. Also, it should be noted that they add a 20% service fee to the bill.

   Staff was a bit overwhelmed and still gave great service! The raw bar scallops and hamachi were amazing! Must have reservations .

   This was the worst dining experience myself and my Fiance have ever had and even worst, it was for Thanksgiving Dinner and this was our very first night visiting Seattle. We waited for a little over an 1 hour and 15 mins before receiving bread and a cup of soup (as a part of the pre fix menu) and the only reason we even received that was because I had told our server that we were leaving because when we asked why it was taking so long to get any food- both the Server and Manager never had an actual answer. When we asked when the rest of our food would come - they said they weren't sure. The manager never even apologized or seem to care at all. He didn't even offer to comp our two glasses of wine. I had to ask him to do that - as it was the least he could do. They ruined our Thanksgiving plans and we left not eating anything. Ended up returning to our Hotel restaurant - luckily they were taking walk-ins that night. I believe this restaurant was either under staffed and under prepared for the reservations they had accepted. When I scanned the dining room - most tables looked like they were frustrated and waiting for food for a very long time. I read the reviews about this place and even with their being a bunch of bad reviews - I went against my instinct and booked it. Next time, I'm goin solely with the reviews. I strongly recommend going to another restaurant. Ignore how nice this place looks and the menu - the service is awful!
