   The setting is not as dramatic as the SF location and the noise level is high, but the food was tasty. The staff is not trained in polite table service; stretching across for water glasses, interrupting conversation abruptly and they did not know the menu as you would expect for fine dining.

   I’ve been to RH’s restaurant in Napa and had high hopes for the Palo Alto location, but last night’s experience left us disappointed. They are clearly short staffed because service was subpar. Although we were seated very quickly, our server checked in on us and provided us with water, but it took 30 minutes before they took our order for appetizers and drinks. We were almost done with our our first course before our server asked us about our mains. She also never offered to open our bottle of wine— we had to ask her to open it after we consumed our first course. When our main course arrived (we all ordered the steak), 2/3 arrived cold. Not warm or lukewarm. Cold. That being said, the food had great flavor, so kudos to the chef and the back of the house. The baguette and crispy artichokes were good; the blini was okay; truffle fries were good; steaks had great flavor, including the broccolini. The dessert menu was uninspiring and because of the level of service, we walked to Paul Fleming’s for dessert. I’m not sure I would return to the restaurant soon given our experience, but the ambiance was great! 😉 Wonderful taste in decor and lighting!

   Good food and great ambience but service is a little slow. They do a nice job of accommodating table requests and celebrate special occasions.

   Our experience was awesome. I would definitely go back. Everything was wonderful. The food was fresh. The service was professional. The ambience was excellent. Looking forward to going back again

   Booked this restaurant for a holiday family dinner the room is beautiful and perfect choice for the holidays. We had a glass of champagne at the wine bar while waiting for our table to be ready and then were seated immediately at our reservation time. The food was delicious, especially the fillets and the truffle fries. The service was also good for such a busy night. Will definitely come back here again during the day to enjoy the beautiful greenhouse and the outdoor fire pits!
