   From the moment that Dave (who, when I entered the front door, and was clearly on his way to somewhere else) immediately interrupted his path to guide me to my table—-my wife had entered before me), I knew that this was going to be more like a “welcome to the family” than just a stellar dining experience. It played out exactly that way. Excellent, subtly conceived food, world-class service (Darren, Dave’s running buddy, often checking in, and engaging freely about what we were eating, and Antonio, who confirmed the best—-and NOT the most expensive wine). The Curry Sisters (we met Kathleen, who cordially added her welcoming wishes) are a force to be reckoned with in the Hudson Valley. Hope to be back soon, with the extended family

   This was our second visit to Restaurant Six amd we were looking forward to returning. I'm happy to say thatcwe were every bit as impressed this time, well worth a 70 mile drive each way. Foie gras and rack of lamb for me, kale salad and salmon for my wife. All outstanding. Our waiter, Antonio, suggested the bourbon chocolate cheesecake. Again, another winner. A great addition to our go to list of great restaurants. We waited until the restaurant was decorated for the holidays (thank you Heather), worth the wait.

   Sunday football! We had a lot of fun. Scott is great behind the bar! They have a new lamb lollipop special that is AMAZING! Highly recommend.

   Been wanting to try out this restaurant for awhile, and decided to go during restaurant week. The drinks and food were delicious, and the service was excellent - very attentive and friendly. Definitely coming back!

   It happened to be restaurant week, not sure if that had any effect either way. Service was excellent…especially Dave. Food was also excellent! Looking forward to coming back to sample their full menu. My only sort of negative was the wine was very over priced. I’m familiar with the normal mark up, but this was definitely at the upper end of the range. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone desiring a fine dining experience.

   Lovely birthday dinner for my husband. They have gf and vegetarian options, which always make me happy and healthy! The apple/butternut squash soup was delicous, as was the Cauliflower steak (and enough to enjoy the next day!). My husband loved the seafood gumbo special.

   I don’t think I’ve ever had a dining experience that everyone was happy from appetizers to dessert! We had the pork, lamb, pasta and the scallops with squash ravioli. Even with a wedding going on and a full house the waiter was attentive and helpful. We didn’t wait long for any course. I ca t say enough positive things about my birthday celebration!

    First time eating here under the new ownership group. The food and service were excellent. We will definitely return to eat here again.
