„Hiemke“, wie das Lokal liebevoll genannt wird, liegt im historischen Teil des Potsdamer Stadtteils Babelsberg, im reizvollen Böhmischen Dorf mit der altehrwürdigen Friedrichskirche und den renovierten Weberhäusern.
Aus einem dieser Weberhäuser entstand 1896 nachweislich eine Gaststätte, gegründet von Otto Hiemke. Seit dieser Zeit wird das Lokal von Familienmitgliedern bewirtschaftet, nun schon in der fünften Generation. „Hiemke“ hat sich gemausert, von der einfachen Biergaststätte hin zum bürgerlichen Speiserestaurant, unter Bewahrung der ortstypischen Gewohnheiten unseres Gästeklientels. Spezialitäten des Hauses: Unser Haus ist bekannt für authentische Küche. Regionale, besonders märkische Küche, die saisonal angepasst wird. Zum Beispiel im Sommer: Havelzander an Zucchini & Petersilienkartoffeln, Hähnchenbrust Sommergemüse & Reis. Oder im Herbst: Kürbissuppe, deftige Eintöpfe & Wildschweinbraten.

Sehr nettes Restaurante in Potsam Babelsberg. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas und unsere Essen waren sehr schmackhaft. Ein nettes Restauranteteam kümmert sich um die Gäste. Empfehlenswert!

Insidertipp. Gute und gemütliche Gaststätte mit langer Tradition. Etwas abseits für Kenner. Nette Bedienung. Leider parkplatzmässig etwas problematisch.

Hallo, wir haben einen netten Abend in rustikal gemütlicher Umgebung genossen. Unsere Wünsche wurden schnell und sehr freundlich umgesetzt. Auch ein Wechsel des Tisches ( damit unsere beiden Hinde etwas mehr Platz haben) war kein Problem. Würden auch bei unserem nächsten Potsdsmbesuch wieder hin gehen.

Sehr gute Whisky-Auswahl, guter Wein, gute Hausmanns-Kost frisch und lecker. Und gute Biere. Bürgerlich aber jung und lebendig, wohltuend originell mit böhmischen Anklängen passend zum Weber-Viertel.
