Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Ramsay's Kitchen in Naperville offers a mixed dining experience with "outstanding food and atmosphere" as praised by regulars. The Beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding are standout dishes. While service is generally commendable, some diners noted slower service during busy times and higher pricing for smaller portions. However, the attentive staff and consistent quality make it a popular choice for special occasions.

Most of the food was cold, our server rarely checked in.. I had to flag her down to re-fill my beverage. Freezing cold sitting next to the door, and left my coat on. Dessert was very good. Overall a bit of a disappointment for the amount of hype and money that we spent.

Fine time spoiled by an awful signature dish. For a place allegedly renowned for the beef Wellington it's hard to understand how they'd serve us what we received. After being asked (no joke) 6 times by 3 different people who were all wearing headphones and presumably in contact with each other whether we had any food allergies, the beef was prepared wonderfully and with care. However, basically everything else was a mess...the crust was certainly not a crust, more of a moist mess smothered around an otherwise perfectly cooked piece of beef..my only guess is that the cooks stuck in a thermometer and decided the beef was good despite the surrounding elements and...shrugged: serve it! I love that big chefs are taking a shot in Naperville but I am so underwhelmed with this experience that I'll take my business back to Sullivan's and Hugo's. This is not a cheap night out so to have an amateurish main plate is a total disappointment.

The food was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the Beef Wellington and my wife was extremely pleased with the seafood risotto dish. The meal is pricey but well worth it.

Had their Beef Wellington for two, harvest salad and broccoli. Each was outstanding. We had their chocolate muse which was very good and rich. We were seated by the kitchen which was very loud. My wife was seated by the walkway which was drafty and cold.

I was charge $89 for a seafood risotto- itemized: 30$ for risotto, 12$ for 3 shrimp, 21 for 2 scallops & 26$ for a small lobster size of imitation crab stick. The featured menu was mentioned without the price bec the server said they don’t want to offend clients that might not be able to afford it. Interesting that there’s a shrimp & lobster spaghetti for 32$. I guess for extra 50$, you can add risotto & scallops. Was it worth 89$? Definitely not.

Every meal was incredible starting with the salted caramel expresso martini, sticky wings, rolls, Wellington, filet, truffle fries, and blueberry compote on the cheesecake. Yum yum yum.
