   I been to several of his restaurants and had really good experiences but this one I was very disappointed

   We were sat in the corner of the back right side. We had order 2 filets. 1 of them were way under done too red. The 2nd was okay on the cook but cold. The under done peice was remade. Cut in to check had to send back again for a few, came back perfect. This was juice and the best piece we received that night. We also had the New York and this was over cooked. The best thing of the night was the free dessert-sticky toffee pudding. 1st time and was not very impressed with cook quality.

   Food is great but got overcharged. Tried to reach the restaurant and was playing phone hold for over an hour. Pretty upset.

   Ramsay’s Kitchen at The Silver Legacy – $300 Lesson in Regret Booked months ahead for a private booth for two. Arrived on time, greeted by two teenagers who clearly hated their lives. Asked about the booth—got, “We’ll do what we can.” Translation? *No booth for you.* The Scene: 15 minutes later, we’re seated at a tiny table crammed so tight I thought we’d be asked to share food. Add nightclub-level noise, and I suddenly wished I’d brought earplugs and a Xanax. The Food: Started with a beet salad—the only decent dish. Then came: - Chicken that tasted like it lost a fight. - An 8oz sirloin topped with what looked like a chef’s apology note disguised as garnish. - Brussel sprouts so salty they could cure meat. Left them untouched. The Service: The assistant server? Great. The main server? Lost. Asked for an organic Pinot Noir, and she looked like I’d asked her to split the atom. The Closer: Enter Mr. Bow Tie, a “manager” making rounds to seem useful. He wasn’t. Politely asked him to buzz off. The Verdict: $300 later, I left wishing I’d just gone to In-N-Out. This isn’t fine dining; it’s a fine disaster. One star—for the beet salad. Never again.

   Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in the Silver Legacy does have delicious food. The Beef Wellington and goat cheese salad were both very tasty. The service was also Excellent. Our server, Lisa, was engaging and accommodative of our requests. However, with Steakhouse prices the ambience is too casual (think no table cloths and a restaurant setting in a noisy Casino). It’s not the best place for an intimate dinner. We may go back, however, to try their Prime Rib which is served with a traditional Popover.

    The Seafood was not great. Although my husband's beef wellington was good. We were seated looking at the casino walkway, people were walking right by us, which was not a great ambiance for an anniversary dinner. I feel like they could have blocked off the casino with a glass wall to help with the atmosphere. The cigarette smoke was not great, but I guess that is what one gets for eating in a casino. The first round of drinks that we had were good, the second came out strong and one of the glasses was sticky. For what we were paying for you would think that it would have been better. The service staff were great but all in all a disappointing night out. :(
