   2nd Time since last week, same weekend Last time Valentine's weekend, This time 1st Birthday. Same server. Same ambiance just happier guests. "Brandon" and my girl "I will surely mention her next visit I couldn't see her name since her name tag was a little bit blurry." I have my friend came from Houston and this is the place in mind to bring them and show them how Austin is different dinning in than anywhere else it's Quince Lakehouse y'all. I'm happy with Visa showing and recommending this place I was able to experience it here. Loving it more. Food was served good, hot, presentable and I don't mind waiting as long as it's fresh from the kitchen to my table and we'll made not rushed.

   Quince has been a staple in our Austin experience since opening and has always set the bar high but we were not impressed today. Our service was subpar - having to hail the waiter multiple times because we hadn’t been checked on and needed water, additional drinks, etc. I was also given the wrong order and told there was nothing that could be done so I had to settle for a dish that I was not expecting. I would still suggest this restaurant, today just was not our day.

   Our waitress was great and the food and drinks were good. I had an indoor reservation, but because there was a large party at one table inside, they were trying to sit the other guests on the covered patio. It was absolutely freezing, guests were eating with winter coats on. There were plenty of open tables inside. We were moved inside where the temperature was better and we didn't have to eat in winter coats. There were plenty of other tables. no one should have had to suffer on the patio.

   This was our first and probably last visit. When I made the reservation I thought I reserved a table inside but we were sat in the seating area closest to the water. It was so loud we couldn’t carry on a conversation. The music was too loud for the room. Service was spotty and our food was very slow to come out. The spicy tuna roll had no flavor and the bao buns were hard like concrete. The hummus with short rib was excellent and a size able portion. The server was kind to not charge for the bao.

   We usually go for dinner and it’s always great but this rating is based on brunch. Took my family and food was mediocre. Kids meals weren’t good either.

   We arrive here on our reservation time. I like that’s it’s quite. The server was very good I wanted the steak and egg (medium well) but she said order it on medium so it’s not dry so I went with it, don’t regret it I loved it. My girl ordered her French toast and she told me to give it a 5 star and recommend it. My baby got the fruits and I tasted all the fruit that’s in it. They picked the very good ones. My husband food was great too. The hostess was very welcoming. He is a handsome guy but I didn’t see his name. Anyways all the crew was very nice, knowledgeable and hospitable. I have a baby and a 8 year old so they made sure we have the right seat for both of my kids. Food was served hot and presentable. I have been to restaurants all over Texas but this is the Only place that has this kind of crew. I loved my 1st time here. We will definitely come back.

   Seated 25 min after reservation, another 20 minutes to be acknowledged, a couple folks tried to help us out but was clear no one had been assigned as our server. 15 min after drinks to be offered to order. Encouraged not to place main course yet as kitchen was overloaded. Steak was well done and ordered medium rare. Kids meal came with two nuggets. So what was good? The ambiance, the oysters, the raw bar. 2.5 hours, $295 for 2 adults and a kid (with 3 drinks total ordered)- wouldn’t return

    Had an early reservation at 5:30pm and once sat, we waited 20 minutes with not a single person stopping by our table to give even a drop of water. There were at least two tables that were seated near us after we had been sat who got served, but no one seemed to notice or care that we had been seated and not served for the duration that we did. One server stopped by and tried to deliver fries that someone had ordered and once we responded that we hadn't even had our drink orders taken yet, they said they would get our server. We waited another 10 minutes after that and decided to leave when no one else came by. The menu is very overpriced with what looks like very cliche and basic menu items so once the service didn't seem to match minimal expectations, we were overjoyed to leave.
