   We were four ladies meeting for our annual holiday dinner. We try a new restaurant each year. We were so excited to go get our girly on at Postscript. The restaurant and outside patio is so pretty even from the outside with the butterflies. We had a waitress who was 2nd day. She was really sweet and fun and had a lot of knowledge of the menu and shared. We tried some of the specialty cocktails for our first round and while they were tasty we all went with our usual preferences for the second round. They have a Smokey drink that we tried and it tasted like drinking fireplace ashes. The waitress replaced with a drink my friend preferred but we all had to suck on lemons to get the taste out of our mouth after trying it. They kept blaming the mezcal but I think it had too much of the smoking flavor in it. We had two appetizers- the truffle fries were yummy as well as the fig flatbread. We had salads with protein for our main course and sadly they were underwhelming. They were bland and left a lot to the imagination. Kind of boring actually. For dessert we tried the sample Platter and shared each item. Several items h were tasty and several had zero taste. The gingerbread cookie and key lime tart and shortbread were everyone’s favorites. Over all we ALL agreed that we were glad we went to experience the ambiance of Postscript but most likely wouldn’t be returning for the food.

   The place is very chic - its very Gen Z / Mil-lineal but of course we are on our late 40’s already. Ambience and service is five star definitely. But food is mediocre. We all thought the chicken taste like a cut from a rotisserie chicken. But if you just want to enjoy company in a nice place,this is definitely a place

   The the service was great. The food was not something I would try again. There were four of us, Dining and I sampled everyone’s dishes. In addition, the atmosphere and look of the restaurant was beautiful.  The bartender made great drinks. Food needs to improve in order for this restaurant to be a continued success

   We called to let them know we were running about 5minutes behind, and they told us they had “lost” our reservation because they were having issues with open table. They made us a new reservation and when we arrived (early for the new reservation) they told us our table wasn’t ready but we could wait at the empty bar. The entire restaurant was pretty empty but I figured it’s Saturday and people try to come a bit later. We waited almost 40 minutes before being seated, nearly a full hour after our original reservation and no other tables showed up in our time waiting. There were 3 other groups in the restaurant on this Saturday night. Our server only visited us 3 times (drinks, appetizers, and to close) and we closed out at nearly 9:00 to find another place to order entrees because we were starving and so frustrated with being one of the only tables and the absolutely awful service. We also ordered 1-2 drinks each and 4 appetizers and our bill was close to $300 for 4 people and again we didn’t order entrees. The food was just ok and the restaurant was so empty and quiet that taking pictures (the only real perk to this place) was so awkward. Would not return, and wouldn’t recommend.

   We had such an amazing time celebrating my friend’s birthday. Our server Elián was spectacular and truly made the night u forgettable. Additionally, the amazing managers Johnathan and Amir took special care of our entire table to ensure we had a great night. A huge thank you to the entire staff for helping us make an incredible memory. Cheers to finding a new great Houston gem. ❤️❤️❤️

   We were seated at the bar for about 30 minutes although we had a reservation. additionally, we also felt the host were not very welcoming. Other than that, the food was amazing and our server was great.

    Fun cocktails, beautiful decor, friendly staff. We both had salmon, it was flavorful and cooked to perfection. We walked over to Post Script after shopping at Tootsies. Perfect location for shopping and eating. Can’t wait to come back soon.
