   I went here based on all these good reviews but was extremely disappointed and underwhelmed. To start, the server was kind of strange and barely wanted to talk. She was acting as hostess too but couldn't be bothered to even greet people as they walked in. Very awkward to walk in to a restaurant and have her standing right in front of you only for her to stare blankly and not say a word. No "hello" no "welcome", nothing. She then came to the table to take our order. Again, just kind of stood there awkwardly and didn't initiate conversation. It's like she had to pause and think for 20 seconds before she asked "what would you like to order?". So there was that. And then the food started coming. We ordered the calamari, the grilled salmon, and the fish and chips. The calamari was terrible. Hardly any actual calamari which were tiny pieces anyway. It was mostly just pieces of batter that all fell apart. At least that we can attribute to cost cutting, I guess..... The most disappointing was the salmon. It was actually cooked perfectly, but had no seasoning at all. Not even salt. Also not a great pairing with the side of "fregula, mushrooms, spigarello" that they just kind of put melted cheese in but again not well seasoned. Probably would've been better without cheese too. Cheese and fish? No Fish and chips were just ok. So overall very disappointing and an awkward experience with the server. Certainly not worth $120.

   Great seafood and excellent service. We had fish and chips and it was tasty and fresh. Highly recommend!

   This was not our first time here, but it will be our last. While the food was excellent, it was extremely overpriced. $23 for a small glass of an average Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc? $36 for a small plate of pasta with a few tiny shrimp? Gumbo was excellent, but it was a very small serving for a high price. The atmosphere is friendly and plain. My wife's plate was removed without asking if she was finished. And so it went.

   A little pricey (spent $150 with tips for 2), but the flavors were worth it! We got the $91 seafood platter and the gumbo (gumbo is what took off a star for value since it was smaller than we thought for the price we paid, but the taste was AMAZING). It was almost close to my birthday and they brought me a mint ice cream sandwich covered in chocolate and a single candle on the side. The staff were SO friendly and they had very fast service. Would go back!!

   Love this place! Wife and I take our little fuzzball here regularly and eat outside. Everything’s on point. Nicely curated menu done really well. They always have special treats for the pooch and the staff is very warm. Great neighborhood spot!

   I ordered badly - fish and chips and most of the fish was soggy. I should have taken it out of the paper it was wrapped in. My friend’s Dungeness Crab Salad was wonderful (she reports) and the service was exemplary so I’ll go back.

    it feels like a neighborhood place with more upscale prices than a casual meal . Nice people, , noisy when filling up. Expensive happy hour with oysters seem to be the attraction as advertised .
