   Overall it was a great experience from the ambience to the friendly staff who made sure me and my friend were taken care of. The pizza is the absolute star. One of the best thin crust pizzas I’ve had. Definitely recommend checking out!

   So glad I was finally able to get in. We had an 8:45 reservation but they were able to seat us at 7:30 because of some no shows (snow storm, lucky us!). I was a fan of when they were slinging pizzas out of Pizza, Fried Chicken, Ice Cream in Bridgeport and I’m glad they have a storefront now, it’s still my favorite tavern style pizza in Chicago. It has a true cracker crust, one that no one else in Chicago has and it makes such a difference!

   So so so so good. Got the Caesar salad, focaccia, and meatballs to start. Everything was 10/10. The sauce on the meatballs reminded me of my mother’s. The focaccia was perfectly soft but crisp on outside. Caesar salad with anchovies on top. WORTH THE HYPE. Pizza was also great but I am not as big of a fan of the tavern style. Best tavern I’ve ever had though, that is for sure.

   We enjoyed our first visit. It was fantastic. Probably the thinnest crust I’ve ever had. It was very crispy and crunchy. The sauce has a nice kick to it. The house salad and meatballs were also great. It’s currently BYOB until they get their liquor license. We had an IPA with the pizza and a Bourbon Barrel Aged espresso stout with the gelato (gelato is served as 3 scoops with each scoop being a different flavor; vanilla bean, hazelnut and pistachio). I highly recommend it.

   The service was very good, everything tasted incredibly fresh. Every single item we ordered was perfect, from the salad to the focciacia down to the gelato (which i suggest you don’t skip!) Will be returning ASAP. It was worth the wait!

    The starters and appetizers were incredible and tasted like quality ingredients. The pizza is too thin for me. It’s like card stock paper. You can’t even call it cardboard. It also has no sauce or cheese. We felt like we were eating burnt pizza chips.
