   We were disappointed by our experience with Pizzaiolo Primo this time. As regulars who count this place as one of our favorite downtown restaurants, the service and food are usually incredible, even on very busy nights like Light Up Night. However, this time was just okay. We arrived for our 7pm reservation and were seated promptly, but then ignored for 10 minutes. Our server didn’t mention specials, which I only found out about while leaving - I would have loved to try the harvest salad. My martini was perfect, but things went downhill afterwards. Our food came out in an incorrect order, so my spouse ate his hot pasta while they brought out appetizers and was finished by the time my entree arrived. It seemed like our primary server spent a lot of time with other tables but barely had time to answer our questions. We chose to pass on dessert and coffee after waiting a while with the dessert menus (we went somewhere else). All in all, it wasn’t the level of service we normally experience here. The food was still great and everyone was very nice, just not attentive. Hopefully just an off night.

   Our waitress was amazing! Food was phenomenal, what a great experience. We stopped by before the festivities started for Light Up Night.

   Food is excellent and nice portion size. Service was lacking with refills on our waters and coming back to see if we needed anything else while we were eating. The ladies restroom toilet was clogged and about to overflow. Not sure if that was due to staff not knowing or if just lack of staff not doing anything about it.

   We hosted a large group of teenagers for our daughter’s birthday and it was the perfect dinner spot. The staff really made the night - outstanding service.

   My meal was very good. My guest's ravioli was too salty so she didn't eat more than 1/2, and that was because she was very hungry. A shame - on previous visits the meals were great.

   Delicious food and outstanding service. It’s a small space with a loud boisterous crowd. If you go later the crowd gets younger as it’s a popular place to go before going out late night. Attire varied greatly from people decked out to people wearing sweat pants…. It was home hockey and football weekend so people were in full party mode.
