   I heard good things about this restaurant, and they did not disappoint. The quality and presentation of the food was very good. Everyone at my table had different entrees and all were very satisfied. We shared the appetizers and dessert, which were pleasantly on the same level as the entrees. The manager greeted guests at their tables which was a pleasant addition. I will definitely be returning.

   Food was delicious as usual! This is my favorite restaurant in Middletown, I will continue too come I want to try everything on menu 😄

   Our first time and what a great experience! Everyone was very attentive and professional. The food was amazing and the presentation was original and generous . We can’t wait to go back !

   Food and service are outstanding. Voice lebel is such, it is hard to hold a conversation at your own table I look forward to going again

   This is my second experience dining at Pithari and wanted to give it another chance. Unfortunately, neither experience has been great. It’s beautiful inside and has so much potential, but isn’t run well. 1) The wine list is a D- at best. It’s one step above Barefoot wines. How do you run a Mediterranean restaurant without any Greek wines? Or even good Italian ones? 2) Zero thought or caring for anyone with food allergies or issues. Nothing is labeled Gluten free and when you ask, the servers rarely understand. We ordered the Burrata, but the Romesco sauce has bread in it. Fine, we asked for it on the side, which they did but brought the plate with the bread on the top! 2) We were absolutely rushed through dinner. The owner was there and he had friends or something there so no one cared that we were shoved in a corner, but they rushed us to put our orders in, even before we had our drinks and once we put an appetizer in, we were sort of forced to put the food order in. There wasn’t a wait and we had a reservation so I’m not sure what the rush was. 3) The manager was lurking around the whole time and at one point came over to ask us how we were doing but before we could even answer she just walked away. It was a formality and she really didn’t care. Middletown really needs better dining choices. We had high hopes for Pithari, it’s unfortunately not great.

    My only complaint is having to give my credit card when we placed the reservation and then would be PENALIZED by charging my card if plans change within 24 hours. The charge is for each guest 25/person. This is ridculous and will not go again for that very reason! People get sick, plans change. I get that restaurants don't want to hold tables for no shows but this is going to extreme!
