   While the whitefish, salmon and chowder were all very good, we really miss the escargot, perch filets and chicken dijon dishes.

   We love to dine at any of the Stafford restaurants and the Pier is one of our favorite. We stopped in prior to the Holiday Open House and enjoyed their chowder, pear arugula gorgonzola salad, and Waygu burger. Staff is always awesome and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend dining here.

   Thanksgiving dinner was a big disappointment. Service very slow and food bad from start to finish. Way overpriced. Will not try that again.

   We went here for thanksgiving. Service was very good but a bit rushed. Food was ok. Ambiance was lovely. Would go back & try their regular menu someday.

   We really loved our dinners and drinks, the staff were all wonderful, and as this was our 20 th anniversary treated us to a dessert on the house, which was so good. Thanks for a wonderful dinner and evening. We would eat here again, white fish dinner and salmon dinner with cocktails 💚💚💚

   Not a fan of the new menu. It is missing favorite items that have been staples over the years including perch and pasta. I'm hoping this is just temporary.

   Generous portion of perfectly cooked white fish with excellent sides, and nicely arranged. Service was exemplary. This is been true throughout my Stafford experience. Staying at the Bay View Inn.

   Pier restaurant was recommended to us by multiple people, locals and from out of town who had visited in the past. We were told on the phone that they were booked for the night but when looking online I noticed an 830pm reservation spot open, so I went ahead and booked it. The hostess called at 831pn asking where we were because the restaurant closes at 830pm. We were in the parking lot walking in as I was on the phone. Upon stepping into the restaurant we were not greeted but scolded again because the kitchen closes at 830pm. I stated that it was odd to have a reservation time available at the time of when the kitchen closes. Also take note that on the website it is clearly stated there is a 15 minute grace period for all reservations. We were led to our table and the hostess then left for the night. Betsy our waitess who was very bubbly and sweet did help with the rude first impression we were given. It was still brought up to us while we were ordering drinks that the kitchen was waiting for us to order and we needed to be quick. It felt like we were rushed from the time we walked in the door. We loved our time at Harbor Springs, but I can’t say I would return to this restaurant if we visit again in the future.

   Reservations at 730 didn’t get food until 845. Server was not very attentive. Water was empty so were drinks. No bread . It was a 400 meal with 6 ppl which not a big deal but the service didn’t reflect that of a nice restaurant.
