   I made our reservation early afternoon on a Friday hoping to get a table at 6:30 pm same evening. That time frame was already booked but 7:30 pm was available which actually worked out better for a couple of reasons not worth mentioning. We arrived at 7:30 pm and the place was bustling with it's typical Friday night crowd and we were taken directly to our reserved table. Service was great and the food was fantastic as well. The three of us ordered different entrees and everyone was happy with their selection. Portions are big so always able to take home the extra to enjoy for lunch the following day. Thank you Open Table for accommodating our needs on short notice and thanks Piazza Gavi for serving up another good experience. Looking forward to seeing you soon, Billy Bear.

   Always a great experience with a lively atmosphere, great food, solid service and a friendly staff. A bit noisy inside and so we usually dine outside and it’s thoroughly enjoyable.

   Great food, good service considering the restaurant appeared to be quite understaffed for a Friday night. The server was great, but he was truly slammed. The house was packed wall to wall. We know times are hard on restaurants, but with the way business was booming, they need to keep digging for some good help. This food is too good to short change it with not enough help.

   Food and staff were great, the noise was loud and the bar with TV's are right behind the dining room which was visible. Not a great romantic or quiet place for dinner.

   What an outstanding dining experience we had visiting Piazza Navi. I would highly recommend this amazing restaurant and can not wait to visit Tucson again with the intention of returning just for their food. Manuel was our server and he was so pleasant, patient and informative. We recommended him to another couple that was entering as we were departing, he was that good. We also suggested they bring their amazing food to Denver, CO as we could use a great family Italian restaurant in our area. My husband and I often share a dinner meal and so happy we did because the portions here could feed three or four. We started with an amazing dinner salad and their homemade Italian dressing - delicious with a bit of sweetness to it. Of course the bread and focaccia for the table was fresh, warm and came with whipped butter. We chose our main meal, Sole Al Granchcio, a dish that was just so amazing, delish and seasoned so wonderfully. It was cooked in a buttered clam sauce and topped with ricotta cheese. Honestly, the best sole dish we have shared in a very long time. We applaud everything about this restaurant; atmosphere, service, food and location. Keep up the amazing service and please, think about coming to Denver!!!!!! My only regret, I took only one picture!

   Evening started off rough as we had a 6:45 reservation and did not see a human at our table until 7:15. They were too busy to for quality service and I blame management for that. However, after complaining politely once and more aggressively a second time, we met our server. He was quite wonderful throughout the rest of the evening.. attentive and sincere. The food was awesome. The manager came to speak with us and ended up giving us complimentary desserts and coffee. It was the right thing to do and we’ll be back! Thank you to the team for taking care of our family. We had 3 generations and time is short so it was appreciated.
