A collaboration between Virant, his wife Jennifer and long-time friend and designer Jody Tate, every detail at Petite Vie tells a story of meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful curation.

Featuring French intricacy and layering, the space is a canvas of artistic expression, with artwork curated from both local talents and treasures acquired during the team's time in Paris. Enjoy a reception and five seated courses curated to pair with wines from the major regions of France! You will enjoy wines from the Loire Valley, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Alsace, and Langeudoc-Rousillon. We will have sparkling wine and passed appetizers for the seated reception followed by a five course tasting menu. Each dish has been created to pair beautifully with the wine selection. The dishes have taken influence from the different regions of France highlighted by the wines! Must be 21+ to attend, IDs will be checked as needed. Reception will begin at 6 pm and dinner will be served promptly at 6:30 pm.

What a fantastic restaurant!! I loved the ambiance, the menu, food, and service. I took one bite of my entree and literally exclaimed out loud about how fantastic it was! We had cocktails, escargot, french onion soup, duck confit, beef bourguignon (on special), and the chocolate souffle and profiteroles. We cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.

The duck confit was perfect, never had better duck in my life. Gnochhi and Chantelle mushrooms was outstanding too although the gnocchi itself was flavorless (the sauce and mushrooms mad cup for it). Scallops were good but oversalted. Waiter was great. good wine recommendations. Happy to have a place like this in Western Suburbs. too few options for a great meal like this

The food was outstanding but service left a lot to be desired. Dinner took nearly two hours from the time we were seated to when we left, and we didn't order dessert (for that reason).
