Arrived for our 6:30 reservation and were told our table wouldn’t be ready for 30 minutes. They do not understand the concept of a reservation as compared to a wait list. After much discussion they magically found us seats at the bar as we had a show to get to

I had the salmon which was delicious! The salads and quesadillas were great too! Nice ambience and friendly staff

Great place… diverse food choices. The Reuben and the Bison burger were great. If you want a great pub experience you should go there! Definitely recommend.

Good pub food with a few interesting selections. Menu seemed pricey for the portions and average dark pub setting. Note, if you want a few dinner rolls for your table, be prepared to pay $5 for a little basket. That was a disappointing first for us, particularly since they weren’t homemade. For locals, this pub is probably a good basic choice. For those visiting the area, it’s unremarkable.

We popped in right after opening on Saturday and were seated upstairs with one other large family group (we had 6). It was a perfect crowd pleaser with brunch and pub fare. Good soups and good fries. Solid, all around with lovely service. It seemed like they’d done smart things around organizing the seating (table sizes mainly) and I imagine they do well even when busy. We walked to the Kate afterwards for a show and popped into the Ace hardware on the way back to our vehicle. All around a great experience of Old Saybrook.

Wonderful as usual! Not as loud on a Fri night as it usually is so a big plus! Our go to place.
