A fantastic restaurant with every dish seemingly better than the last. The owners have a talent for helping you decide what to order, which should be everything on the menu, and for making you feel like friends. Don’t skip the beets! The scallops, octopus and hamachi dishes are truly exceptional. One of the best meals I have had anywhere.

Great selection of small dishes-- the owner/manager visits every table and helps you choose your menu. Superb attention to detail. Prices look high, but the experience is worth it. We are looking forward to our next return visit.

Just can’t explain the inner joy achieved by this unassuming, eclectic restaurant. The food had more flavor than we can describe, service was the absolute best. Going back soon. Get the raspberry nori dessert and shrimp in Santa leaf if you can. So superb.

The Chewy Rice dish with dill pollen, brown butter, Osetra caviar, and tomato compote was seriously among the best bites of comfort food I have ever tasted. Do not sleep on the dessert labeled "WHITE CHOCOLATE, SALTED RASPBERRY, CANDIED NORI, BROWN BUTTER" either - divine. The food and service here are impeccable. One of Nashville's true gems.
