   From walking in for our 5th time at PB we were greeted by hostesses who told me and my party we are early and we could sit for happy hour but the. They stood there not telling us where we should go so when we walked towards the table they the. Said if you sit here you can stay here instead of the main dining area this was repeated by what seemed to be a manager in long black hair who was less than friendly. I then shared that this is a special occasion and we would prefer to sit in the dining room. They said well if you sit there, you can’t have happy hour on our previous visit. The staff are very kind and let us sit in the happy hour area while we waited for our table to open and didn’t make such a fuss about Whether we stayed in one area and move to another. It seemed like we were bothering them by being the first people to walk in to the restaurant, . My husband then said we would go for a walk and come back as it seemed that we weren’t welcome at this time. We returned about 20 minutes later and were seated in the main area where than a hostess named. Julia said we could use the happy hour menu and stay in the main room. I’m assuming that she was trying to make things better But our server Matt was very adamant that the happy hour menu could not be served in the main area we suggested he speak to Julia as that’s what she had just said at this point I said forget everything I just wanna eat and leave as quickly as I can. He then left and came back with a different attitude, much kinder and more friendlier and said he, we could order from the happy hour menu. I’m not one to bicker about money I just wanna enjoy a good meal. This is beyond what I should’ve expected at a special occasion with my father on my last night here in Florida for the new year. I will be back to bring more family to PB catch as it is a great restaurant and I would like to share a better experience with them

   New Year’s eve dinner we started with stone claws $40 for 2 claws , they were ok , last time i had them was at joes crab and i thought they were better i then had the fish soup- bouillibase which was not as good as i had previously-disappointed … it comes with a 1/2Maine lobster tail but it was smaller than ususual and when u are ordering a pricey soup , u expect the best fish and flavor … it wasn’t what i had in the past… my dinner companion had meat , it was good … we had a glass of champagne, thst made things better , as we saw the ball drop while we were there , nothing special..i had ti tell them to put the correct tv channel on so we could see NYC

   It was NYE, our plans changed and I needed a last minute dinner reservation. A 9:45pm opened up and we took it. The restaurant was packed and the wait staff, although busy, were so friendly and kept checking on us. Dinner was very good and the chocolate scandal dessert is a must! Will definitely come back. Happy new year!

   Seated 15 minutes after our reservation time but understandable due to it being New Years Eve. Fantastic food, service and staff.

   The meal was as expected, was a bit disappointed that we were in the raw bar area after making a reservation for a standard table and confirming that reservation the day of…it was busy as it was New years Eve and they were trying their best.

   Beautiful ambience, moderate noise level so it was easy to have conversation. Service was very friendly and efficient and the food was excellent. My husband and I had the crab cake for our appetizer. I had the twin lobster tails and my husband had the snapper. Both were delicious. Our friends had the sea bass and also the twin lobster tails. They also very much enjoyed their meal. We look forward to going back.

   Wonderful food and service! Don’t miss the halibut entree. As a Caesar salad lover…I believe they have one if the best I’ve ever had. My new favorite in Palm and West Palm Beach.

    Had Christmas Eve dinner here this year. Everything was wonderful! Drinks amazing! HIGHLY recommend the Bloody-Mary shooters. Food was outstanding. The Sea-cuterie board was very inventive & so fun to try. Will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Palm Beach!
