   Food was good but highly overpriced. The restaurant tries to be upscale but the customers think a hoodie is a sport coat. We won’t bother to try it again.

   We loved our experience! We went with our 9 month old right at 5 when they opened and they were very accommodating and had a high chair waiting at our table. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is beautiful and the view is gorgeous, especially at sunset. All of our food was delicious and we loved our waiter, James - he was knowledgeable, professional and really fun, which added to our experience! The cocktails and mocktails were all delicious too. It was a great atmosphere that was quiet and somehow could lend itself to be both family friendly, and also a great date night spot. Definitely would recommend and come back!

   The best thing about the whole experience was the service only, for the cost of food the taste and presentation was mediocre to say the least. As a local I will never repeat this again, for a large major chain hotel I was hoping for something better, but unfortunately that we get from franchise managed properties , but to be a Marriott hotel it was very disappointing.

   Had Wagyu - always a good choice. Sister had eggplant she said was great. Quinoa a strange side choice that came with. She didn’t care for it; broccolini a little underdone. Smashed potatoes ok but prefer whole or regular mashed. The dip was great Mac & Lobster delicious. Shareable, Good sized portions. They served a complementary (Valentine’s Day) mousse dessert! Excellent! James, our waiter was outstanding and fun!! We’ll be back!

   Dinner on the terrace here was lovely and made better by our waiter, Gabriel. He was Attentive, friendly and gracious. My husband’s meal - lobster linguine- was so tasteful and impressive. My filet arrived barely warm which was disappointing especially for a restaurant at this level. The kitchen took it back and did return it at a proper temperature. I’m not even particularly fussy about my food being hot, but a steak being barely warm is not acceptable. The wine list leaves much to be desired as it’s very limited with 96% of it Californian. So many great wines not on there. Our overall experience was enjoyable and made that much better by Gabriel. The view and sunset was stunning.

   This was our second time at Oyster River and it did not disappoint. Charles was a terrific server and our god was cooked to perfection. The sunset views were terrific. I especially appreciated the fact that even though it was Valentine’s Day they didn’t pack people in- tables were nicely spaced. I recommend!

   Our server, Gabriel was fantastic.We both had the Wagu and Scallops...Perfectly prepared and delicious. The brussel sprouts were also very good. Great view! Definitely a repeat.
