   My Fiancé and I recently dined at Ovide in Miramar Beach, FL, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Despite arriving early for our 8:00 PM reservation and spending time at the bar, where the service was subpar, we were seated over 20 minutes late. Once at our table, we received no attention from the staff—no beverages offered, no check-ins—which led us to leave without dining. While the menu appeared promising, the lack of service overshadowed our evening. Truly disappointed.

   This was a surprise Valentine's Day Celebration and even though we oprted NOT to go with The Chef's Selection and ordered directly from the menu, it was absolutely wonderful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

   The food was cold when brought to our table an hour after we ordered. We did not order the valentine course meal and we didn’t leave for over two hours. One of our meals was forgotten and they had to go back and make another which left us waiting even longer. Since the old chef left this restaurant has not been the same. Last time dining here.

   Valentine's Day date night with a fixed menu. Supposed to be $230/couple. The bill ended up $600 - which included $200 bottle of wine. An automatic 22% tip was included AND a "service charge" - for what? and the tax! The tip was calculated on the meal AND the wine. So wrong. Will never go back! Food good (not crazy outstanding to justify the cost). Service - meh. Ambiance - there wasn't any. More ambiance in the bar area. The restaurant called twice to confirm, thus the chef and management should have known how many people to expect. Early reservation 545p - thinking to get ahead of the crowd AND it was the only open time slot on Open Table. Service initially was slow but Liz did her best to juggle 4 tables all seated within minutes of each other. That is a management / hostess issue. The first two courses came out within the timeframe expected and were good. It took some time for them to find the right bottle of wine. Still good - the third course was served 20+min after the 2nd. The main came close on the heels of the 3rd. The table next to us asked for the rest of the meal to be packaged up and they left. We had a nice bottle of wine and ate leisurely.

   Wonderful evening. Food was amazing great spot for special dinners. Our waiter was terrific. Highly recommend

   My wife and I were excited about our reservation to Ovide for their New Year’s menu, but the experience ended up being terrible and I cannot in good faith recommend this restaurant to anyone. Between waiting 10 minutes for a server to show, being rushed and given courses when we were still eating the previous course, being served the dessert course before getting the main course, confusion about the menu (BEET tartare served in the restaurant and listed on the online menu, BEEF tartare listed on the menu in the restaurant), and getting a server who had no apparent knowledge of the menu, I can’t believe anyone considers this place to be an upscale restaurant. Despite the food being just okay, it was overshadowed by the absolutely terrible service. At $500 for the food, premium wine pairing, and (mandatory) 20% service charge, we definitely expected something special that we didn’t get. I wish that we had gone to the Olive Garden for New Year’s Eve instead. Don’t waste your time and money on this “fine dining” experience.

   The 4 of us celebrated NYE. Hadn't been there before. Loved our selections! Wonderful food. Our server Aubree, was exceptional and took care of all our needs on such a busy night. We will be back!

    We had a great experience. We sat outside, even though it was chilly for everyone else, we had heaters and loved it (we are from Iowa so it was warm for us). Our waiter was wonderful. We had the biscuits as starters and three of our party had the chicken, one had the sea scallops which was a feature, and one had a tortellini special. All were tasty and wonderful. We didn't have room for dessert but one person in our party had hot chocolate that was divine. Service was very attentive and kind throughout with our waiter who was from Peru.
