We went on a Saturday night before seeing a show at Memorial Auditorium. The wait staff was friendly but it was confusing because we had 4 different people serving us and it seemed they all didn't know what the others had done when it came to taking orders, so they were asking us the same things. I ordered the Ribeye and was told the the chef doesn't usually cook steaks to a temperature lower than medium. So i asked if they could do at least medium rare and the wait staff made a big deal when they brought it out that it was "as rare as they could go". It was so odd. The steak was terribly cooked, while it was red in the middle, it was fatty and tough. Obviously not cooked such that the fat rendered. I don't know if they baked it or what. They also gave me malt vinegar for a steak sauce??! My friend got a cheeseburger that she enjoyed and my daughter's salmon was not cooked Med-rare as requested. It was well done. But she said the flavor was good. The mashed potatoes and veggies we both had weren't great either. I didn't eat most of my food. All in all it was an ok experience but not worth the money I paid and not what I expected after having been to 10th and Terrace in the same building. Next time, I'll go to 10th and Terrace instead.

I specifically got a reservation on the patio and they did not honor that. It was absolutely beautiful outside, I'm really sad we couldn't be out there. The food and cocktails were overpriced and not impressive. It was hotel food. Similar to cafeteria or catering food. The waiter was also overworked. It took them forever to come get our initial drink order. They never came back to fill water or check on how the food was. I wanted to show my parents a nice night in town before a show at Marrietta and I think they were disappointed too. Also, the open table page says to call them for any questions or changes. I tried calling to confirm (I REALLY wanted outside), but it's the number to the hotel and when you follow the automated phone menu to the restaurant, it tells you to handle everything for reservations on the open table app.

This was my 2nd visit here. It’s a great place for outdoor seating with a bit of a view. Although the food selection is limited the food is pretty good. The drinks were strong and enough. The staff was stretched but they teamed up to serve us pretty well. We didn’t need the fireplace on this fall evening, but it’s fired up (used it on my last visit) it does the job well. We went up to 10th & Terrace afterwards just to check the view, but it was dark and the south Raleigh view was nothing compared to last time there at sunset. These two places are great to bring out-of-town guests. But remember the menu is limited.

The Rib Eye steak was great, so were the onion rings and veggies and loaded potato skins. Nice and efficient staff.

Really friendly staff at a good spot. The food was good but not outstanding, plus it was a little pricey.

The food was kind of average for the price and they did not have enough staff even though I wouldn't say the place was all that packed. The main thing it has going for it is its proximity to the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts if you are trying to grab a bite before you attend a show.

The food was very expensive for the portion sizes but it was fairly tasty. Service was ok. The server was very nice. Be aware that this is one of the restaurants inside the Residence Inn hotel.

Pretty bad service. Food was good. We were seated at our table quickly, after 15 mins no one had come to say hello, serve water, or anything. My husband had to go find someone. Still took about 5-7mins for someone to bring 1 water glass for the table, not 1 for each of us. When we finally were able to place our drink order we discovered the waiter forgot to even put it in bc he came around a second time 10 mins later asking if we another any other drinks besides a water. Placed food order. Part of it was never received. A different waiter brought our food out, the original waiter never once came to check on us after receiving food. Had to find a manager to get food that wasn’t received. Original waiter said he’d bring us a dessert menu, after 15 mins of waiting we gave up and went to find someone else to tab out. Never got a water refill or asked if we wanted a second drink from the bar. It was our anniversary dinner, wanted somewhere nice to eat, this just wasn’t it.
