For years, Our Restaurant stood as a cornerstone of dining at Rydges Armidale, beloved for its warm atmosphere and familiar flavours. But with time came a desire for something more—an experience that not only honours the rich traditions of the past but also breathes new life into the present, blending timeless culinary heritage with modern sophistication.

At Ottoman, guests are welcomed into an intimate and inviting space where the air is filled with the enticing aromas of Turkish and Ottoman-inspired dishes, each crafted with fresh, vibrant ingredients. Rydges Armidale has several spaces available for your special event or intimate gathering. Ottoman Restaurant has a sheer curtain that can be pulled to seperate the restaurant in half. The Cellar has an intimate space for up to 18 and the Aasha Room for groups up to 12. Dumaresq Room is our large events space which can cater up to 120 people.

Ambiance completely lacking, more like a cafe dining atmosphere than a restaurant. Room needs dividers to create smaller spaces and keep kids corralled in one corner (preferably gagged). Food was okay but struggled to find any hint of pomegranate in the Fesenjan. Far better restaurants in Armidale but VFM wasn't bad. First and probably the last time we will visit.
