   We tried the afternoon tea experience and enjoyed it overall. While the tea selection was somewhat limited, we appreciated the option to try more than one. The scones were outstanding, and the savory items were quite good, but the sweets were just okay. The service was excellent, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. It was a pleasant experience, but when it comes to afternoon tea, I personally prefer other places.

   We came for brunch (7 people) and really enjoyed our time there. Love the atmosphere. Great service. The large plates are a good portion of food - all the dishes we had were excellent!

   We had such a wonderful time at Orchard! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the posh and stylish interior—it really set the tone for a great evening. The service was quick and efficient, and we couldn’t stop talking about how delicious every dish was—truly exquisite (the squid ink tagliatelle is ❤️). The staff were all so friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back and trying their lunch next time!

   The food was delicious and the ambience is beautiful. However the appies were very small. ($20 for 4 small pieces of pork belly strips for example example). But overall a good experience just a bit more expensive for the amount of food.

   A lot of excitement and anticipation to go to this place however was fairly disappointed and very underwhelmed. In short, I will not be back. The food was mediocre. The beet salad was good. The chicken sandwiches were really good. The steak was tough and cold. The shrimp was just ok. The ambiance of this place is beautiful. It smells amazing in there and it’s incredibly well maintained and decorated. Absolutely beautiful in there. However, it was very cold. There was definitely a draft from the front door. Upon making the reservation I asked for a nice table to host a business meeting. We were seated right at the front door almost on the table closest to the exit so that may have affected the temperature. The negative part was simply around the service. The waiter showed no signs that he enjoyed his job, in fact the opposite. We sat waiting for about 15 mins before we were even approached and then he was short and kind of like he didn’t want to be there. Asking if he could take our drink order or just come back because one person was looking at the options. The waiter’s rude and off putting attitude was really uncalled for. At the end we hadn’t actually finished our food and drinks and he walked over interrupted our discussion and put the machine for payment on the table and says “do you have any feedback?” “Any comments you want to share”. Like it made no sense at all for him to do that. We told him the food was good and the place was beautiful all true. However it was the service the one waiter who demonstrated a negative attitude towards having a job to do. The flippancy and discontent definitely shined through and affected our overall experience of this establishment. When people are happy at work it shows and when they’re not, it shows as well and when you’re in customer service, it’s very important to be kind and at least pretend to like your clients and job.

   Absolutely amazing time for tea! The food was incredible, the tea was delicious, and the service/team went above and beyond. I have been to Orchard many times, to the point the staff remembers me; and because of this I will keep coming back. What the Chef does with her seasonal menu is incredible; and it’s always the first restaurant I recommend to people who want to try something new. Thank you for making today so special for my family and I! Can’t wait to be back soon!
