   The ambiance was wonderful. The food and drinks were delicious. Our server was Luke; he was very attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend.

   We had been really excited to try Olio e Piu, even though we had heard mixed reviews. It was, truly, some of the worst food we've ever had at a restaurant. The focaccia they gave us when we sat down was stale. The beet salad looked promising, but only 1/2 of the beets were even edible. We shared a few things, and the cacio e pepe was horrible. The pasta was very over cooked and covered in very heavy cream sauce that had zero flavor. We had 2 desserts, hoping that they could redeem themselves with something sweet. The scoop of ice cream with limoncello was so strange. I'm not sure how you mess up a scoop of ice cream. The chocolate dessert was altogether inedible. All 3 of us would eat any kind of chocolate - but this was the most bizarre dessert we'd ever had. The server we had was in way over her head. She had no idea how to describe anything on the menu, and she admitted that she had only tried one or two things. She tried telling us that we needed to "cleanse our palates" at some point in a conversation that had nothing to do with that. Her awkwardness made us all very uncomfortable. All three of us left there wishing we could get back the last 2 hours of our night - not to mention the money we spent. It was an utter disappointment and it's truly difficult to explain just how horrible the whole experience was!

   Just ok. Had the bolognese. It was rather bland. Tried the ribeye which was good but was looking forward to the pasta. And this may seem minor, but the tables for two are on the smaller side. Menu kept falling off.

   Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Just up the street from House of Blues, so it's a great option for a pre-show dinner.
