Unfortunately had quite a disappointing experience.
Table legs force you to sit in quite an uncomfortable way as they are positioned right in front of your legs but not central so you can put your legs either side, so already I felt uncomfortable at the table.
Waitress service was good and helpful, although it did seem she had quite a lot going on and seemed to forget to come back to the table. We asked for a few minutes to choose desserts and she didn’t return for around 15/20minutes by which point we decided to get the bill. We had to ask for the bill twice as our waitress didn’t bring it over when we asked, so we asked someone else.
Food service was initially good, food was served promptly. However whilst I understand that with tapas room can need to be made on the table, our plates were often taken before we were finished and we weren’t asked if it was okay to take them. Additionally whilst most of the food was okay, the prawns did smell a bit off to me so I didn’t eat them. My partner however isn’t one to be shy of food and ate the prawns - he then realised he made a mistake as the prawns seemed to ‘repeat’ on him and he ended up being quite sick when we arrived home.
Food was reasonably priced, although I don’t think I would pay the same now I know the quality of the food.
Overall the experience was not a disaster - the restaurant environment was calm and a good noise level, I am just not sure I would return due to the negatives I experienced.
