   Our party shared a number of dishes and we all enjoyed every bite. We had two first timers in our group who absolutely loved it. We had a very friendly, attentive waitperson. Can't wait to go back!

   Every dish was really good and flavorful. The staff was really nice and accommodating. The vibe and music selection were upbeat and fun. I can't imagine not going here every time I come to Austin.

   The food was really good but not exploding with flavors like I heard. It was overall fabulous Chinese food but I still like Lin Asian and Wu Chow in Austin better. The portions were pretty small for $18 plates. Our waiter was great and food came out really quick for a Sunday afternoon.

   Delicious! Very loud on a busy Saturday night - so if loud is not your thing, don’t head there on a busy weekend - but great food and excellent service… will be back!

   We absolutely love Old Thousand’s food and brought my mom specifically because she never gets good Chinese. But it literally took us twenty minutes to get a waiter to our table, food took a good 40-50 minutes. And the donuts I hyped up so much because I love them were barely edible. They tasted like wanna be top golf donuts instead of the delicious Chinese buffet throwback I love. I will go back just because the food is unbeatable, but I won’t be bringing anybody with me again until we have a better experience!

   I wanted to thank you for hosting my birthday party last night! We had such an amazing time and loved all of the appetizers (hot & sour soup was a crowd pleaser), mains, and desserts! Our server was knowledgeable, sweet, and on top of it.

    Always love going to Old Thousand! Food quality, flavors are amazing, service is stellar and is a fave with my picky kids! If you haven’t been here you are missing out. Drinks are 💯 too!
