   We love the pub as we've been several times before and the food always looks nice but we were very disappointed with the Sunday roast. My husband had beef, which was very chewy and I had the pork, which was only one slice and had lumps of gristle in it. The veg was very average too. It won't stop us going to the pub, because we love it but we probably won't eat in there again.

   It was my very first Sunday roast and I loved that it was an original pub, comfy, slightly shabby and welcoming - food was delightful and authentic. Great service and lovely team on the floor, we had a great afternoon and left hours later. Sticky toffee pudding deliche!!

   Very nice Sunday roast on the whole. Roast potatoes a bit overdone but otherwise lovely. Generous portions and all nestled in a giant Yorkshire pud! The service was excellent; very friendly staff giving just the right amount of attention. I'd definitely recommend the Old Fountain for a decent Sunday roast.

   Food is lovely but you just don’t get much meat or potatoes . Also it’s all crowded into a large Yorkshire so not presented v well and portions could be better Staff and chefs are really nice Pub is great

   Excellent food and service in a traditional pub with a good range of drinks. We had a tasty Sunday roast with all the trimmings in a giant Yorkshire pudding. Both the pork and lamb were delicious. We will return. Thank you, Team Old Fountain

   Great staff - really on their game, brilliant beer selection and delicious roast dinner. A perfect sunday sipping beer and watching rugby.

   The old fountain were very accommodating with my initial booking as I had the amend the table numbers a couple of times. I’d eaten there before, which I really enjoyed. This time did not disappoint! The food and the service were both excellent. Definitely going back for more.

   Excellent service from the team. Nepalese Dumplings starters were fantastic and highly recommended, as were the desserts. As always, a great craft beer selection too - the main reason we keep coming back! The Sunday lunch does seem to have changed since our last visit, with a large Yorkshire and most of the food inside it. The Yorkshire was crispy and tasty as was the Beef. The Pork Belly was very small for the cost but I think we were just unlucky as I could see other plates and they weren't quite the same. The Chicken looked plentiful and the Beef just right, cooked perfectly too. A negative would be the Cauliflower Cheese. I would normally expect to be able to buy a side portion of that for the table but it wasn't available. Sadly I had no more than a teaspoon of it on my plate which was a shame. All told, a very good meal for all and I would definitely recommend going if you have not tried it.

    Splendid! Came here last night for a Sunday roast with my fiancé & future in-laws, in search of a classic Sunday roast experience. We were all blown away by the delicious food and WILD portions (look out for that Yorkshire pudding!). Amazing value for the money, attentive service and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious Sunday roast.
