   Meagan was great and took excellent care of us, Michael the Chef , created top notch dishes with delicious flavors. Elijah checked in on us and took great care as well. Felt very taken care of. Always my favorite place to bring friends and family.

   Wonderful evening at this restaurant. Great service, really tasty food and nice menu. Outside dining atmosphere is really nice, but we had reserved inside seats. Highly recommend.

   The food was excellent, but the overall experience was disappointing due to the way we were treated compared to other patrons. I had requested an outdoor table for my birthday celebration with my daughter, and at first, we were given a wobbly table with a candle that wouldn’t stay lit, making it difficult to read the menu in the already dim lighting. When another table opened in the same section, I requested to move, which they accommodated. However, when our food arrived, I had to go find a steak knife myself after waiting with no staff in sight. At dessert, our table wasn’t cleared like others around us, and despite noting my birthday on the reservation, we received no acknowledgment—while the table next to us was given a birthday candle. To ensure I wasn’t imagining things, I asked my daughter, who also noticed the disparity in service. If you’re a minority, I would not recommend this place, as our experience left us feeling unwelcome and disregarded.

   It was delicious!!! I loved the cauliflower, made with the tastiest kale I’ve ever had.

   Several items we ordered arrived cold (whipped potatoes and polenta). The pork ribs were well seasoned but dry. It appeared they may have been made the day before then reheated. The server was interruptive and walked away with a bad attitude when we were not ready to order. She came back several times with the same attitude, which was disappointing considering we were spending >$250 for dinner and some drinks. When we asked to hear a list of specials she couldn't have been more of a monotone, no personality or an eagerness to serve us adequately. I would recommend to the management at Ocotillo, that if you are going to charge higher than average prices for entrees and side dishes, the service needs to be much better. We walked out of the restaurant with the feeling we just overpaid for an average meal that wasn't cooked properly, then got an attitude from our server. I have always liked Ocotillo and have recommended it to many friends. I sure hope they improve in all areas. They need to in order to justify the pricing.

   Order the chicken! We picked it off the bones. Great happy hour drink specials. The balsamic strawberries are BOMB. Got a little noisy as people filled in, but loved the vibe. Sat inside because it was a bit cold, but the patio is beautiful!

   The food at Ocotillo is inventive and really flavorful. We love the menu. We ordered everything at once and asked the waiter to pace it for us. The salad and 2 appetizers came all at once and we weren't even half way done when the entrees arrived. We sent them back since we weren't nearly ready for them. If the waiter had listened to us the experience would have been perfect. I will go back because the food is so delicious but they need to get their waitstaff trained better.

    All of the food was oversalted, and some of the fried dishes tasted stale. The churros were some of the worst I’ve ever had (very hard to chew), and the fried onions on top of my dish were rubbery. My cocktail was poured very heavy handedly, and I couldn’t really taste the flavors I was supposed to. I wanted to like this place a lot, but it just didn’t impress.
