During the low season (from July 23rd to October 13th), we operate with 2 service times: 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, and we close at 4:00 PM.

High season hours (starting October 15th) will be 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM, with closing time at 5:00 PM.

To make a reservation, the system requires a non-refundable prepayment of $120 pesos per person for round-trip boat transportation. This amount is not refundable in case of cancellations or no-shows. If you hike in or arrive by your own boat, this payment will serve as a deposit and will be deducted from your bill on the day of your visit.

Please note; our weather and waves can change on a moment's notice. We may have to cancel the water taxi and close the restaurant if the waves are too high. This only happens occasionally but if we do you will receive a text on the phone number you leave with open table.

    You can access Boca de Tomatlan by bus, Uber, or Taxi. We are 30 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta. Please go to the cement dock and our water taxi will pick you up 20 minutes before your reservation. Look for the boat with our shirts that say Ocean Grill.

    Ocean Grill is magical- we came back this year with our family to experience the beauty and amazing food. Staff is extremely professional, and welcoming. Highly recommend!!

    Customer service excellent. Instructions to get there were perfect. Food was best we had all week. Only regret was not taking a dive off the dock.

    Loved our experience from the boat ride from Boca to sitting al fresco. The octopus is amazingly tender and the olive tapanad is a perfect pairing. I had a fresh salad and the marlin tostados were so good. Definitely worth the reservation and the adventure.

    Ocean Grill is a MUST when visiting Puerto Vallarta. Such a fun, unique adventure eating an incredible lunch in a tree house restaurant!! Don’t miss this awesome experience. Fresh catch of the day was excellent !!!
