   The hostesses at the front are very welcoming and kind! We were seated very quickly despite being 10 min late to our reservation. Hala was our server and she couldn’t have given us a better dining experience. The food was amazing- everything was delicious but the Caesar salad does lack a bit of flavor. Might be on me for ordering a Caesar salad at a steakhouse! Hala was very professional and helped us with a lot of great recommendations and never rushing us. It was my boyfriend’s birthday, and Hala brought us a complimentary dessert over which was so lovely! Couldn’t have had a better night- thank you Hala and the Ocean 48 team!

   The food at Ocean 48 is outstanding! Always consistent. We always order too much to eat. The drinks are wonderful! Our waiter Brandon was very knowledgeable and recommended an amazing fish for me to order. We always have an extremely pleasant experience and would highly recommend this restaurant!!!

   Servers and general manager made what would’ve been an average experience, exceptional. You can find good food anywhere, but the value is in the people who service you that makes you want to return.  Highly recommend if you want a night out that has great ambiance, good food and exceptional service.

   Usually I would post 5 stars, as I’ve been here many times and always have a great experience. Tonight I posted 3 stars, because the hostess didn’t know that I requested in my reservation to be seated by the water. It was my mom’s first time, and I knew she would love sitting by the water. Instead, we were seated in the bar area with loud music. Not what I had envisioned. It was also 4pm, and all the tables were empty. But the hostess made it seem like it would be a problem to be seated by the water, so we didn’t push the issue with her. She also seemed very indifferent and not very accommodating when I pointed out that I had requested a table by the water in advance. The hostess gets 2-3 stars, and our server gets 5 stars. The sea bass was also not cooked fully and my mom couldn’t finish it because of that. So, not as great as my other experiences at this restaurant.

   Food and service were superior. We enjoyed our evening with family. Steaks were prepared perfectly and so was the scallops. We will be back.
