   Our experience was not great. We dined here on new years so it may have been a one night situation. I would try to give it a second chance when we come back to St. John as the views and atmosphere is very good.

   We had an amazing experience!!! We sat outside with an outstanding sunset view. There was a fixed menu which was unbelievable!!!! Would highly recommend this restaurant!!!!

   I dined here during the holiday period. So, perhaps that is the reason that we were completely underwhelmed, however, I'm not sure. First, there was a very limited holiday prix fixe menu. I spoke with the restaurant the day of to confirm things on the menu as I was dining with children. By the time we arrived for our 530pm reservation the menu had changed- It led to a lot of disappointment as we dragged kids here for a nice meal instead of going to one of their favorite places. Several of our meals came out wrong. We had to rearrange plates and move food around from plate to plate. It was over priced for what we got. The table cloth was badly wrinkled. We paid fine dining prices and expected a fine dining experience. To top it off, I was planning to pay and my husband told the host that on the way in. There was some mixup and the staff kind of forced my father to pay. It was embarrassing and awkward. The staff were very nice and the view is great. I was able to get some nice sunset and family pics. I considered not writing a review since we visited during peak holiday time, however, I rely heavily on reviews so I feel obligated.

   The food was good but not great. It was very expensive compared to much nicer places in the US.

   Dined out out Christmas Day. Views were awesome. Pre-fix menu was quite costly and food was not great. Food was dull tasting. Filet was tough. Cheesecake was unrecognizable as cheesecake. Service sub-par. Not a restaurant we would return to again.

   Went with my wife for Christmas Eve Dinner. Our server, Amanda, was excellent , and as attentive as she could be as she was the only one serving and bartending for the entire upstairs of the restaurant. At $125 per person price point you would expect there to be at least a bartender to make your drinks. Amanda was tasked with making every drink order as well as taking dinner orders. The food was quite underwhelming. Not bad, but it felt like catered wedding event with ok food. Amuse-bouche was olive tapenade over French bread with a slab of butter. First course was a tasty clam chowder, huge portion, looked like a bowl and a half. I had the filet which was cooked nicely and covered with a very runny crab cake substance over top which I immediately pushed to the side after tasting. The garlic mashed potatoes were dry with no garlic that I could taste. The asparagus was cooked beyond recognition and mushy. Desert was a tasty chocolate tort with raspberry compote, it had a peanut butter mush on the plate with white chocolate Kit Kats on top which didn’t seemed unnecessary. I’m a St. Thomas resident for many years and have liked this place in the past, but with so many great options in Cruz Bay, I will not be back here.

    The entrees were not great: expensive cut of meat with no taste. Halibut over risotto: white food on white food, not appealing. The service was excellent. Crab and shrimp appetizers were very good.
