   Terrible service - didn’t get my full food order and had to request the waitress remove items from my bill. Ordered a bottle of pellegrino. Water was served once. We had to ask for more soy sauce? Basic stuff was missed…very mediocre experience. Great location, good ambiance, sushi had too manny sauces which overpowered the actual fish…we’re not coming back.

   The food was good, the service was better. Firecracker Roll was great! Crème de la Crème nigiri was really good. Western Wagyu Roll was just ok. Presentation for all was really good. Brownie for desert tasted undercooked. The server was attentive, knowledgeable, and offered food suggestions. At the end, the server offered to give us out-of-towners some places to try for adventures during our weekend stay. Best time to come is after sunset - every time the front door opened, the constant flash of bright light was distracting.

   I have dined here once before a couple of years ago and it was excellent. I have also visited the Jacksonville, FL location recently which was amazing as well. I made the reservation for 4 for my birthday dinner (I didn’t include that in my reservation) but I don’t necessarily like mentioning that—I loved the place before and our service was amazing the previous time that I really didn’t feel the need to add that info on the res. Our server really left my party and I with a bad taste in our mouth. Two of my guests had ordered two rolls that didn’t come out with the rest of their rolls and the last roll when it eventually came out finally arrived when we wanted to leave. The server said she looked at the time of the ticket and it hadn’t even hit 30 minutes but I really feel like she didn’t put it in the system in a timely manner because the rest of the rolls came out and we ate and had ordered more food and that came—and that roll still never showed up until we were ready to check out. I didn’t appreciate how she offered my guests shooters when they don’t even drink alcohol—that is not appropriate or hospitable; she also sounded snappy when she suggested speaking to a manager. I really just wanted a relaxing but nice dinner and the food was that for me but the service was not even at the level of fair. There were also chairs stacked up in front of us and around the area we were in so that also took away from the niceness of this place and it seemed like they stuffed a table in the storage area. She also may have been overwhelmed but the way she carried herself to a group of pretty relaxed and casual people wasn’t great.

   We thought that all of the food was absolutely amazing. When the kids wanted to watch the chef make sushi, they told us some information. Chef Elbert was very nice and the food was amazing. Five stars every day.

   The food was incredible and the service unmatched. Zoe was really great and gave amazing recommendations.. We celebrated my hubby’s birthday and he was very pleased. Will def be back.

   Very busy Sunday, so service wasn’t as good as it usually was. Our waiter had a lot going on and didn’t check in on us as often as we’d like at that price point. We’ll always come back to O-Ku but wanted to share!

    The layout is very unfortunate, as a whole row of tables face the bathrooms and you see the toilet each time the door opens and closes which is constant. Food was very good and service was ok.
