We had really looked forward to visiting Normas and were sadly disappointed. Our table was 15 minutes late, but once sat we immediately reported being cold. It was the coldest weekend of the year and when we asked we were told after some enquiry that the heating wasn’t working. The nibbles were nice, but the sour dough wasn’t even a full slice, not great for £2pp. Then they brought out the Guinea escalope, tasty but there was no other dish to eat it until we asked. Our brocolli then arrived, nice, but cold. The pigs cheek and potatoes were more successful, very tasty and warm. We didn’t have anything else, as we just wanted to get home to warm up. Positives were the staff were friendly and they did knock £20 off the bill due to the heating, but unfortunately it went no way to compensate for an over priced (for the size of the dishes) uncomfortable and disappointing evening. Not what we expected from a Michelin recommended venue.

Scallops, Smashed potatoes, and Stout Cake stood higher than the rest of our excellent order. Hebden Lager on tap was great too!

Another fantastic experience at Norman's We took two friends, one of whom needs gluten free food, and they were both blown away by the food and brilliant service. Such an enjoyable evening and a friendly atmosphere, and amazing food. We're already planning our next visit. Perfect.

An excellent evening at Normans. We are regulars there and it’s great to see the menu changes that happen all the time. The food is always delicious and I love the small plates approach, it means you get to taste so many more dishes.

Absolute favourite local restaurant never fails to impress. Even moved our reservation forward when requested due to snow forecast. Knowledgeable happy staff makes a huge positive impression too. Superb …. Ⓜ️

An amazing evening with a clever menu allowing you to pick and choose a range of dishes and flavours. The mackerel tart, was the first snack to arrive and set a really high bar that continued all evening. The cocktails were so well made and presented, but the highlight is the fun of the names given to them. An evening of great food, spritz and giggles!
