   Excellent from top to bottom. Love small restaurants with an open kitchen. At Nolia you feel like you are at a friend’s house talking and watching food being prepared.

   I'm pretty sad to write this... but our experience at Nolia was subpar. I had heard such wonderful things but our meal there was lacking. The service was fine - we sat at the bar which gave us a view of the open kitchen. The food, while presented quite beautifully, was bland and lacked that "wow" factor that leaves you wanting more. I felt that the portion size being so small and expensive along with the lack of impressive flavor was disappointing. I'm fine with smaller plates but the quality and attention to detail needs to be there. I have read that the management has changed since they received so many accolades but I truly hope they can reclaim the glory that used to be!

   Treat yourself to this gem of a restaurant in Over the Rhine. Off the beaten path but definitely worth the find! The food was excellent and the service was spot on. The noise level was manageable but lively. A small restaurant so definitely get reservations. We thought all the appetizers were outstanding. The presentation of the peanut soup was fun to watch and better to eat. The dumplings and the hen were both delicious. The cocktails were creative and the wine we had paired perfectly with the dishes.

   A lot of thought goes into the menu items, and the result is an eclectic mix of flavors that highlight not only New Orleans but Southern influences more broadly. The peanut soup starter was a standout, and the skillet cornbread never fails to delight. There’s a short and yet very interesting, well chosen selection of wines, and the Hyde Park cocktail based on Guinness stout was a perfect winter drink. Wish I’d had room for one of the scrumptious sounded desserts!

   Nolia did it again…. seriously some of the best food in Cincinnati! Chef is amazing and the staff is so knowledgeable. We had a fantastic dinner! The menu changes often and they nail it ever time! Well done, Chef

   Our 2nd visit to Nolia and both have been excellent! The food is great and the menu changes every 90 days so there's always something new to try.
