Dinner was delicious! The beet and burrata salad was a standout and based on this dish alone I want to explore more of the menu. It was so flavourful and balanced. I really l appreciate the $12 martini special as well. I am already planning my return and can’t wait to bring more people to this gem!

The food was amazing and the vibe just right. My only criticism is that the entrees were a little pricey. It wasn’t enough to sway us to never return, but likely more for special occasions rather than just a night out.

This was our first time at noir for brunch and everything was amazing! The crème brûlée espresso martini was probably one of the best I’ve ever had and there were definitely more drinks that I would have loved to try. Interesting food options as well that were creative and not like you’re usually breakfast options. Looking forward to returning to try their dinner options!

We were really disappointed with our experience at Noir last night. We had heard such great things about this place, expecting a fantastic culinary experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short of that. Maybe they were short-staffed, we would have been understanding, we were in no rush but no one acknowledged it, and the service was some of the worst I’ve had in a long time—slow, inattentive, and frustratingly inconsistent. The only person who seemed remotely attentive was the waiter refilling our water. Everything took far too long—getting seated, placing our drink orders, having our table cleared, receiving a dessert menu (I eventually had to ask another server), and even getting the bill. It was a constant waiting game. The food itself was underwhelming for the price. Comparing portions to 2024 photos from reviews, they’ve definitely shrunk (I’m thinking of the tuna cannoli in particular). The steak tartare was $36 and didn’t even come with bread, we had to pay an extra $3 for just two grilled slices. The gnocchi was probably the best dish, but it was drowning in sauce, which felt like a tactic to make the portion seem more substantial. Given Noir’s positioning as an elevated dining experience, I expected far better. For what we paid, the value just wasn’t there! On top of that, the atmosphere upstairs was unpleasant. The music was way too loud, and we were stuck between one group watching TikTok video and laughing and the other in front of us cursing loudly every other word (some how this table had better service too, they came after us and ate and left before us and there were four people at their table versus just us two). It completely took away from any sense of refinement. Overall, this was a disappointing and frustrating experience. Noir did not live up to its reputation, and I won’t be rushing back.

My partner and I got reservations here for the valentines 3 course menu with the accompanied wine pairing. Overall we had an amazing time and all the food was high quality. Pairings went very well with the dishes and our waiter was attentive, the atmosphere in the restaurant is unique and on par with the name. Other than the service being slightly slow everything else was up to our liking. Would recommend!

Was yummy! Service was exceptional! Mucho dinero, but worth the visit! The courses and wine pairing were excellent! The second course took foooooreeeeever to come out. Was lukewarm/cold by time it came out. Shrimp dish should’ve come with serviette or some water bowl or something to clean the hands. Deserts were good! Servers always checked on us. A pleasant surprise in the service industry in Hamilton! Honestly, great experience to take a date out :)

A very, very positive experience. The cocktails were unique and well made. The food was well presented, delicious and impeccably prepared. A rarity in town, plenty of well balanced vegan options are available. Ambiance was excellent, keeping to the theme or Noir, and the service was outstanding. One of our current top three places in Hamilton. Warning, making a choice from the options is very challenging.
