Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Nobu at Caesars New Orleans offers a "delicious" culinary experience with standout dishes like black cod and sea bass. The atmosphere is lively, though some find it a bit loud due to its casino location. Service is consistently praised, with servers like Xavier and Kristin noted for their attentiveness. While prices can be high, the "amazing" food and exceptional service make it a memorable dining destination.

The service and staff were excellent. The tequila opener was one of the finest tequila drinks in Nola ($14 each). There was only one option for hot sake, and the 6 oz was $25 and 12 oz was $48. We ordered both dinner specials. One was $125 for 6 small spoons of tuna with roe and lots of sauce on them. The sushi was fresh, presented in a manner with many of layers of textures and flavors … but we ended up tasting more sweets and fruits in the special than the fish. We ordered the second special as well for $45 and the presentation, portion size (2 pieces of 3 separate fish species) and flavors were good. The fish was complimented, but not overpowered by the accompanying sauces. We ordered miso soup and it came in a small bowl and the flavor was above average but not really memorable. This was their only soup option. We ordered individual pieces of sushi ($10-$12 each) and found the fish to be fresh, but the portion sizes were below average and the fish was a bit dryer than we were accustomed to. We ordered fresh wasabi x2 and the portions were very small (this is why we had to order 2), and the flavor and texture wasn’t like freshly ground tablesside wasabi we’ve had at other restaurants. With a 20% tip we paid $520 for 2 people. Our bellies were full. We’ve been to other Nobu restaurants (Cape town and Las Vegas) and we believe that the product and value were better at the other restaurants. We won’t return to Nobu NOLA for the sushi, but we may sit at the bar and have a hot tea because that was the only item on the menu that exceeded our expectations.

It’s just not the same as other Nobu’s I have been to Dallas, Bahamas and ATL and I just do not think it compares. The rolls were no better than supermarket sushi. The small Tacos were wonderful and the cod lettuce wraps were great but other than that I don’t think we will be going back.

We visited Nobu for NYE and selected the omakase menu. The food was excellent, but the execution was well below expectations. The second course was delivered before the first, then the two main courses were delivered at about the same time. When you spend nearly $600 for a meal you expect impeccable service and this did not deliver. There are too many excellent options in New Orleans to try this again.

I’ve been to this location a few times already and will continue to come back! One of my favorite places to eat! The service is good and the food is amazing. The sea bass and black cod are a must try!

The Rocky 5 of the Nobu franchise…. Having been to Nobu in other locations, the food here was very subpar. If you are going to pay Nobu prices, choose a different city.

The food was incredible, and the space was nice. However, our service was just okay - waters were not kept filled unless requested and our server seemed a little put out to take our orders (the man delivering the food to the table was great though!). I noted that we were celebrating a birthday on the reservation, and while the table not even a foot away from us got a candle and writing on their dessert, our table’s dessert had nothing and a birthday was not even mentioned during the whole dining experience. Overall, we both a had a good dinner, the service was just not what we were expecting given the reputation and price point (not to mention seeing how tables were treated better around us).
