Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

I always love Nobu. Food and service were outstanding but extremely slow. Waited 30-plus minutes for drinks. By the time they arrived, we had already finished our meal. Over 3 hours for dinner.

as usual with nobu and i have been to many throughout the world the food is exceptional - in atlanta the room is quite large and can get a touch too loud when busy but that said one does not complain about the quality for it is superb - i sat at the counter four or five times and once at a table - service superb in either but i prefer the counter as i am looking at the sushi chef and he or she is making choices based upon likes and dislikes bring your wallet for this does not come cheap but it is an experience well worth the cost

We went for the brunch & have to say it’s quite overpriced for a brunch without any juices/teas/coffees included. It was $75/person & they had a total of 8 sushi plates. One of which was a vegetarian option & 3 were nigiri. Really disappointed with the options they offered and how pricey their brunch was.

For $85 we expect something with more food stations. Like pasta, eggs, proteins etc. We think its overpriced. They charge the regular (no liquor), coffe, soda water, beverages separate. For that price? Not fair.

We started the experience with oysters, miso soup and tacos wagyu & fish. The tacos were so wonderful, we ordered a second set of both. The tacos had fantastic flavor and were so very light. Added a couple of beef stewers to go with the Salmon and the Hanger steak. Oh, they cooked the salmon and steak to perfection, mid-rare on both. Nobu acheived perfection with the temp. To go along with the meal, we had the lychee martini and a tropicalia in addition to the sparkling water. The only this we noticed is the very slow service and lack of access to the server. The server was informative and helpful with the menu but, was not around when we needed assistance (dropped napkin and no chopsticks/dining utensils-taken with the dirty plates). Overall, I would highly recommend giving Nobu a go. Today, is the day after and the wife and I are still talking about the delicious food at Nobu and what we want to try next time.

We went to Nobu in Milan Italy and the experience was outstanding. From food to service, it was incredible and every detail perfect harkening to the detail Nobu is now for While the food here harkened back to experience, there was much to be desired for the service. While everyone was courteous and polite, there were many times when drinks ran out and we were not able to order more. We were there for a birthday and even received a confirmatory email saying the dessert would be displayed with a special birthday message as has happened in Milan for our anniversary, this did not happen here. While I would fly across the world to eat at that Nobu again, I don't think I'll drive down from Chattanooga to east at this one again
