   Depending on what you order, it is a hit or miss what the size of the portion is, there are a few items that are too small yet the prices are all high. Overall high prices, in line with all the other restaurants on the area but the food and service is really good. Good option to have a full dinner or only go with friends for drinks.

   Service was excellent. All the dishes were very good. The only thing is if you eat a lot, need to order more. Because you don't get a lot of food on each plates.

   The restaurant was pretty empty at 2 pm so it was quiet. The decor is lovely. The food was excellent. The servers were very attentive and friendly. It’s relatively new, and I hope they succeed!

   Nizuc was a last minute booking and we couldn’t have been happier! The service was prompt, cheerful, and attentive. Each dish had layers of flavor that we all enjoyed. We had all ages, from children to adults, and everyone enjoyed their meal tremendously. The Carrot tostado is set to go off the menu, but it was one of our favorites, please leave it! This is a “newish” restaurant, within walking distance to Hudson Yards, go try it!

   The ceviche and the branzino were excellent. the fish tacos were dry and uninteresting. But the service was terrible. We literally had to ask someone to pick up our dirty dishes. The waiter was totally absent even though the place was quite empty. We waited for a long time to receive our drink (it came after we had finished eating). Totally unacceptable!

   Food and service were great! Now, we waited 10 minutes too long to be seated with no one ahead of us. The seater was pacing SLOWLY and taking forever to seat folks. Also, I didn’t understand why coats were taken by the hostesses for some guests and not for others. They sure didn’t take ours. I ordered my carne asada well-done after the waiter recommended that I ordered medium. I got it medium. It was still good, but my request was not granted.

    I rarely write reviews, but Nizuc is serving up just fantastic modern Mexican food — the smoked carrot tostadas were particularly, explosively delicious. And the octopus carpaccio. And the pork belly al pastor. And oh my god the esquites. Ooo and the Condesa Afternoon cocktail. And and and…. A deft hand and creative mind are at work in this kitchen. It was pretty quiet while we were there early on a Monday night — I very much hope that’s not the norm, because this restaurant deserves to be packed to the rafters. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable wait staff. Pleasant space well-designed to shut out 10th Avenue. Very strongly recommended.
