    Led by award-winning, nationally-recognized chef Jason Knibb, NINE-TEN offers the perfect combination of sophistication and casual elegance and an ideal location along lively Prospect Street in the Village of La Jolla. Recognized with MICHELIN distinction, NINE-TEN’s globally-inspired, locally-sourced cuisine features the best of the harvest from local artisans where products are selected daily for the restaurant’s seasonal menus. Dine indoors or al fresco on our sidewalk patio or back terrace with peek views of the Pacific Ocean. Heaters and blankets are available during the colder weather. Private dining rooms are also available for groups of 8 or more. Breakfast is served Wednesday through Friday, 7 am to 11 am. Brunch is served Saturday & Sunday, 7 am to 2 pm. and features $6 mimosas and $8 Bloody Marys. Lunch is served Wednesday through Friday, 11:30 am to 2 pm.     A Chef driven tasting menu experience, highlighting the best that NINE-TEN has to offer. Start with an amuse bouche followed by 6 courses including selections from our menu with a nightly specials or Chef's creations tossed in. Add in wine pairings chosen by our Sommelier with each course to round out your meal. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary preferences so we can craft the perfect menu for you. A 20% service charge will be included for all Mercy of the Chef reservations.

                                              Excellent food, amazing gluten free bread, the Jerk pork belly was outstanding. Inventive dishes that taste amazing. The cocktails and wine selection was also superb.

                                              The atmosphere is classy; the views amazing. Service and good exceeded expectations. We split the burger (stellar) and halibut. Elevated flavors. ThT sourdough bread was warm and also tasty.

                                              We had the Marcy of the chef tasting menu. It is just ok. The only item stood out was the pork belly. Our son & his wife joined us and they liked the presentation but comparing to other places this one didn’t hit my spot.

                                              Or first time here and everything was wonderful! The tuna tartare app was amazing. The jerked pork belly was also very good, but the tuna was better. The ceasar salad was very good, with the traditional flavor, but better executed than most restaurants. 2 of our patty had the lamb and said it was amazing, and they would return just for that dish. The other two of us had the salmon, which was also excellent. I have never had that type of salmon before, the taste was like king salmon. The Pavlova dessert was also fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant

                                              Fantastic experience! Delicious dinner and very attentive service. The veranda was perfect - a great way to spend a Friday evening. The drinks were perfect and the dessert sublime. We’ll be back soon!

                                              My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at NINE-TEN. We had the six-course tasting menu with wine pairing, and it was one of the best tasting menu experiences we have had. Chris, our server, and the entire service team were exceptional, and we highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys tasting menus.
