   We enjoyed our dinner and especially loved Liz our server. She was attentive, fun and managed our tight schedule as we were off to a concert. The fluke was delicious prepared with polenta and risotto ( we had it both ways). I love supporting restaurants to at have been around for a while. So glad Nicks is still a great go to!

   Food was so flavorful, wonderfully seasoned with seasonal and fresh ingredients. Was initially unsure walking in. We were sat in a quiet room set back from the rest of the restaurant, so vibes were interesting, but the food was worth going for sure. Would recommend.

   I doubt there is a better lunch/brunch to be had than what we have enjoyed several times now at Nick's. You can watch the dedicated and professional crew preparing the meals from most vantage points in the dining room -- and they are a picture of concentration. It shows on the plates where the presentation is as excellent as the food. For the quality delivered, this has to be one of the best spots in Providence. Always a joy and always look forward to returning.

   Took 30 minutes for the food to be ready. Fun to watch the chef and cook working on the food. We got rigatoni bolognese and eggs benny. The rigatoni bolognese was decent; however, the eggs benny were disappointing. The biscuits didn’t go well with the egg and bacon.

   I went on 11/9/24 and there was a long wait for brunch service. Our foods arrived approximately 40 min after we sat down. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes and they were rubbery.....

    Our group of four’s first time for dinner at Nicks. Food was outstanding, menu had just enough choices and it was easy to eat vegetarian or add protein to the dish. Flavors were distinct but subtle - we all enjoyed our meal. The server was knowledgeable and pleasant and offered the right level of attention. Our only complaint, was the noise level. With tin ceilings, brick walls and tiled surfaces, we had a hard time hearing each other, and it want that crowded. This is hardly unique to Nicks, but we are finding our desire to dine out decreasing because of it. Restaurants really should take notice.
