Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue. Featuring a rolling 12-hour lunch-to-dinner menu, the bar brings you a selection of specially curated small plates such as Woodfire Grilled Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes with Oregano, Braised Zucchini with Mint, Chilli and Pecorino, as well as an amazing selection of Consorcio, Cuca, Pollastrini, Ortiz and Real Conversas tins with some freshly baked sourdough from Baker Bleu. It's also home to the famous Perry hamburger.
"It's just a place to get some really nice hospitality, chill out and enjoy your day," Neil Perry. Sandwiched between Baker Bleu and Margaret, the indoor dining area is cosy and comfortable, with marble-top tables and an open bar and kitchen.

Another amazing dinner at Next Door, beautiful ambience outside, first class service from Ellie the English Rose, entrees were sensational, piping hot and delicious and then the American cheeseburger was a hit as always! All enjoyed with a beautiful bottle of Riesling and a few glasses of French red. Next Door you never disappoint. Can’t wait to get back!

Clotilde and NextDoor team, thank you for a perfect lunch, on a wonderful day in Sydney! The Wagyu Tartare steak with BakerBleu bread and CopperTree Farms butter are truly divine! Flavours that are matched in heaven. Neil does the Vanilla ice-cream and coconut sorbet superbly! Together, with exceptional service and a lovely ambience, NextDoor, Margaret, BakerBleu, Bobbie’s and Songbird are my favourite dining and cocktail experiences in Sydney! Hope to see you soon again..

Food was exceptionally overpriced for what it was. Service does not match price. Food was good but not great. I was very surprised as had heard good things and was very disappointed. Was charged $38 for “Bulli water” which I questioned as we had tap water. This was removed from bill. Had to wait until we had almost finished our meals until fries came. Generally was not impressed with the service compared to pricing and reputation. My sons are big burger eaters and they were not impressed. Won’t be going back.

Fantastic evening, arrived very early but led to the bar for a drink and pivoted to eating there as well at our request. Nothing was a problem for Oliver and his staff. Food was sensational, wine amazing as always. Wonderful conversations with barman Bill and our waiter Alejandra and Oliver as charming as ever. Will be back again over the weekend it was that enjoyable!

Next Door next level. Our hostess Francesca made the day exceptionally special from wine and food recommendations to her exquisite service. Prawn cutlets are a must and the cheeseburger was sensational along with some tasty sides. Be back soon.
